My family and I had an exceptional experience with Lake Houston Monument Company while creating a headstone for our beloved grandmother. From start to finish, the process was handled with professionalism, compassion, and great attention to detail. A special thank you to Gilbert, who was absolutely wonderful to work with. He took his time with us during our appointment and never made us feel rushed. He provided plenty of examples to help us choose the perfect colors, font, wording, and meaningful symbols for the headstone. He even took us outside to view other monuments so we could better visualize what we wanted. Gilbert carefully listened to our ideas, paid attention to every detail, and displayed a rough draft on a TV screen as he brought our vision to life. During such a difficult time, he made the entire experience feel personal, comfortable, and stress free. I would also like to thank Swaney for doing an incredible job creating the perfect headstone for my beautiful grandmother. The finished monument exceeded our expectations and is truly a beautiful tribute to her life and legacy. It is something our family will forever cherish whenever we visit our Grannie. I have had two deaths within four years I was able to purchase a headstone and make payments on it for a year due to the pricing. I return because I am a very happy customer. They are excellent.

Given the situation and reason for my purchase, it was a wonderful experience. I was treated with respect and they listened to my ideas and were able to incorporate them into the headstone. I have dealt with them twice once in 2009 with the original purchase of the headstone for our mother. Then in 2016 to add the inscription for my brother as he also passed away. They also added his photo and dates. This is a recent picture 2021 of the headstone 🪦 and I will say it still looks great. This place was the most affordable (The cemetery wanted almost triple for the same type of headstone!) and worked with me on a payment plan so I could give my loved ones a proper headstone.
