Aselamu aleykum at Center DC, Thank you for your service! I was at the center this last Ramadan and it was a wonderful experience. But since then the center was closed for couple of weeks and afterwards I hear it’s not open for five daily prayers. I would like to comment here. I saw one of the vision/missions of the center is to practice Islam and there is nothing more than praying salat on congregation, on time and in the masjid. The center is in the middle of the city and it has a big impact on Muslims who wants to pray in masjid and in congregation than this place. Also if you could assign some care takers so that this place is open everyday of the year. This masjid places are like the oceans for fishes. Without them we’re not alive. I’m happy to contribute to the center, the atmosphere feels peaceful, a great place to make Dawa for Muslims and non Muslims and of course for five daily prayers. I would appreciate for consideration of my advice! Allah knows best! Abdelah.

One of the most beautiful Islamic spaces I've seen. The people, the vibe, the community. 10/10

The first time I was here was during Ramadan 2025, and I saw a group of sincere Muslims striving to grow in their religion and iman, being kind to one another, supporting one another, listening to one another, and respecting one another. May Allah bless you and protect this center.

The most warm, welcoming Islamic center I've been to in my 28 years. From the cute pig leaving the door open at the entrance, to the cozy carpet, organized coatrack, free socks and sincere smiles that guide you through prayer— this is a true gem nestled in the city. So thankful for family and friends for recommending me 💗 hope to keep up the visits even in the cold!

I went for Iftar a while back and wasn’t allowed to stand in the prayer line with men in it, even thought there was space. I was sent to the very back to pray, where there was hardly any space, since I’m a woman. I would love to come back if men and women are separated from right to left instead of women having to be behind the men! We are better than that, fellow Muslims!
