Disappointed in how I was communicated with by Alex Philip while setting up CBT recommended to me after being diagnosed with ADHD. Felt extremely pressured to enter in payment information after conversations that did not leave me feeling heard or prioritized, and was met with impatience and a condescending tone when apologizing for family matters drawing out the application process. Seeing other poor reviews of his work ethic does not surprise me of this outcome, and felt similarly when it came to being a paycheck and not a patient. Will not be pursuing therapy here on any terms.

I reached out to Heavenly Counsel recently for therapy assistance. Alexandr reached out to me to ensure I found the exact therapy I was looking for. Although he doesn’t offer equestrian therapy. He assured me he’d find the best place that does and follow up at 9pm with me. Got me the referral and genuinely cared to ensure I was in the right hands. It speaks to the integrity of his business and who he connects him self with. I appreciate it again!

Alex is a decent counselor, but because I had midterms coming up and was not able to make it to our session today without giving him 24 hours notice (which I did not realize was the policy at the time) and I couldn't afford to pay the $87 "rescheduling fee", he literally dropped me as a client with no discussion about how it was a one time mistake. He basically told me to get lost. He claims "I am not in it for the money", and then tells his clients to get lost when they have life happen and can't afford the rescheduling fee.

When I first started seeing Alex, I had a fear of flying, but had to fly for work. Alex was able to help me identify the underlying issues, and work to build positive habits to replace the bad ones. Since working with Alex, I have flown 4 times, and have another two flights scheduled. He has lots of experience to pull from, but what makes him successful is he is 100% committed. It's obvious this isn't a paycheck for him, but rather an opportunity to improve others lives. It's important to note that therapy takes work, and to be successful, you need to put in the time. Alex is my recommended choice, because he provides the tools and encouragement to make the work easier, and lead his patients on the path to success.

Working with Alex has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. He has helped me to navigate through a large number of significant life changes that have come one after the other. I highly recommend reaching out to him for an introduction.
