Hospice of NM was a Godsend for my family. Margaret is so genuine and caring and follows through with every patient from the very start. I was in a desperate place with my grandma and grandpa, and as soon as I called Margaret, she said, I will be right there. She was. Her team, from volunteers to medical staff, was so caring and explained everything. When I had a concern, they addressed it immediately. This company and staff really, truly care, and that is what makes them different. Thank you, Margaret and team, for being here during the most difficult time in our lives and being the caring support every loved one deserves.

I feel like I wasnt really prepared on end of stage signs or behaviors. The things I didn't know I needed till it was to late. knowing how far along my mom was, they didn't automatically provide liquid pain meds. They would know more then I. She was still taking pills feom the ER vist till next day she she wasn't taking them consistently. I had no idea I needed liquid till it was to late and the crashed pills weren't doing to job anymore. I also didn't know about loved ones having sleep disruptions like insomnia. I didn't know my mom was so close to passing. I took her to the ER because they said I had to wait for Pain meds to be sent in. I should note when I seen the nurse on Friday they didn't offer to send in liquid pain meds yo another pharmacy. They said wait till Monday. I would not recommend. Although they did try with getting her some things she need. They important parts like what to look for was missed.

This may be the worst possible company I’ve ever dealt with, and when it involves a loved one dying, it makes it even worse. When they brought my dad from the hospital, they brought no supplies, no comfort kit with the painkillers, no diapers, etc. each time we called, they promised us someone was on the way, and no one ever showed then. We had to go get everything he needed on our own. I’m still staring at his bed in the way in the dining room, MORE THAN 2 DAYS AFTER HE PASSED, with no response in that period of time either. This is criminal neglect in my opinion. Terrible company and people. Stay as far away from them as possible.

My father was on hospice with this company about a month. I trusted them totally with his care. My father had a catheter which was not being cleaned or changed by the nurse and home health care aid which he developed a bad UTI when I addressed it the nurse she stated it was normal to have cloudy urine. My father became more ill from it. Their doctor only provided 1/2 the antibiotics which didn’t clear his infection! I had other concerns and issues with my father’s care that they did not provide! My father became very ill not responding and i had to call 911 revoking hospice. If I had waited for the nurse and the doctor to respond what their plan of action was to be! My father would have suffered renal failure gone sepsis and passed away not by his illness but the negligence of the staff not caring for him properly. They were able treat my father on time. But he did suffer some damage. Advise to those out there with loved ones on hospice. make sure the company you use for your loved ones can provide the care and services they are needing. if they can’t keep looking for one. BE THE ADVOCATE for your love one!!! I learned the hard way!!!

We had Hospice of New Mexico and they were Amazing! My dad’s nurse was Amanda. I don’t know how we could have done it without her. She was there for my dad and for us literally every step of the way at any time. We also had Joanna which was also his nurse and she too was amazing. My dad got really close to them. My dads chaplain Dottie would come anytime we asked and she was so good with my dad and still she is there for us.💕My mother in law has hospice with a different company and I see the difference and that makes me even more grateful to have had the team we had. We will forever be grateful to Amanda, Joanna, and Dottie and John. Thank you💕
