Best Care Senior Living at St. Pete LLC.

This place is a nightmare! Don't walk, RUN! My mother was left in her own feces and urine multiple times when I visited and when she was assessed by her new assisted living facility. The halls reak of urine and feces, the rear of the building I later found she hadn't seen a PCP in over 6 months and once I told them I was moving her, they stopped checking on her altogehter yet continue to try to bill her checking account. They've also switched her medical plan several times to make money with each switch!

I live out of state and coordinate care for my dad. We found Best Care and I am so glad we did. Candace has been an angel and so helpful. She truly cares for her residents in a way that is hard to find in this field. The building is clean and welcoming. They often work on holidays to provide parties and meals for residents who do not have family in the area. They go above and beyond for their residents.

The population this Assisted Living Facility provides care to are often the forgotten, the broken, and the looked over seniors that other facilities won't accept. About 2 years ago Candace took on the role of Administrator of this building, and has worked tirelessly to provide compassionate, genuine care to the people who reside under her care. While to some looking from the outside, judgement is casted on a population that needs care, to others such as Candace and her staff, they have provided a home with love, care, and an environment for the residents to remain healthy and happy with therapeutic activities, specialty doctors to provide healthcare, and dedication to an otherwise lost population.

I took a tour of this facility, inquiring for the care of my grandmother, and I was very pleased from the staff to the cleanliness just the overall atmosphere of the facility. When I walked right through the door, it smelled fresh and clean. Unlike other facilities, I went to view, I was given informative information and direct contact of the manager for immediate assistance if I choose to move forward. The administrator took her time with the tour I never felt rushed and she answered all my questions without hesitation. All the staff was polite it put my mind at ease regarding my grandmother joining Best Care.

Best Care is a fantastic, affordable, assisted living community that is run by very capable hands. Candace is the administrator and she is amazing. She goes above and beyond for her residents to ensure their needs are met and that they are well taken care of. The building has had some upgrades recently and some still in progress, but what has been completed really made it feel like a warm homelike community. I will continue to refer families for placement at Best Care and am fully confident in the loving, compassionate care they will receive.
