I had an excellent experience with my nurse Roxanne and the CNA Diana from team 1726, they were compasionate, attentive and always made sure, that My Daughter had a beautiful care . Their professionalism and kidness truly made a difference during our process , they took time to listen , answered all my questions and treated with respect and patience. Im very grateful for the outstanding care they provide . Thank you both for going above and beyond.

Signed my mother up with team 1726 Kissimmee in the hospital on the promises of the salesperson of visits 3 to 4 times a week, full staff, and comfort. On the 1st visit we find out its once a week, we were lied to.Tried to call their number for 3 hours getting ran around stating the whole team is in a meeting, the whole team.Noone to help, or answer our questions. Management was combative not comforting. Constant rescheduling of appointments,no regard for customers time.Oxygen deliveries are not coordinated, and constant miscommunications.Mom had to go back in the hospital and because of 1 day of lethargy they suggest clinical hospice for end of life. The day she was to be transferred to a facility she woke up to eat and their nurse John was unprofessional, and unempathetic speaking in the room in front of my mom about death, and stating you know this is for end of life right? seeming bothered that mom was doing better, then talked over us, and became combative,We ended the conversation quickly with him. Called to inform management of our experience with him and didnt get a call back for 3 days!!After being on their end of life plan for 8 days,we requested mom be evaluated by a doctor and in response I get a call stating their taking her off the end of life plan because she's "stable"and has to be moved today, this is at 3pm in the afternoon! No heads up,and almost no options. We transfered her to a hospital the next day, where the doctor states she is in severe distress, has infections and won't last long..reminder Vitas took her off because she's "stable". Management Susan, and Misel actually told me someone didn't like the way I spoke to them,so they decided to take her off the plan!,its recorded.Emotions with family should never effect a patient. There's so much more I could say,but just wanted to let people know our families experience. A few bright lights in this darkness were the social worker Latoya, who is just fantastic trying to help me navigate through destruction this company caused..Nurses, Rosa(there's 2),1 for the normal plan, and 1 for the advanced plan, both were great, and nurse Janice were kind and patient,The Chaplin Roland is kind and helpful as well although stretched very thin. THOSE FEW PEOPLE ARE THE ONLY REASON THEY GOT STARS AT ALL FROM US.In closing the people on the ground seem nice, but management is uncompassionate, combative, and unprofessional. Please meet with all hospice companies, ask questions and read reviews before you decide, this is a sensitive time for your family, and you deserve the comfort and compassion that our family did not receive. God bless

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ VITAS provided exceptional and compassionate care to my beloved mother, Rosa L. Ortiz, during her five-year journey at home and through her final days. I am deeply grateful to Nurse Lorena, Olkine, Silvana, Paola, Omayra, Evelia, Dr. Dowe, Robinson, Miguel, Xavier, and Chaplains Jorge and Sam for their kindness, professionalism, and heartfelt support. They cared not only for my mother, but for me as her caregiver. Knowing she was surrounded by such dignity and compassion brought our family peace during the most difficult time. Thank you, VITAS, for walking with us until the very end.

My grandmother passed a couple weeks ago. Jennys team (team 1726) helped make her last few weeks as comfortable as possible. Jenny made sure to explain to us on day one that if she furrows or grimaces, she’s in pain and that’s the last thing we want. She made sure she checked in with my mom several times a day to see how my grandma was feeling. Agnes and Meline rotated daily in coming to bath my grandma, and they were so insanely gentle. They took their time and showed so much compassion. They gave her dignity while keeping her covered up, as well as making sure she didn’t stay exposed so she wouldn’t get cold. They always called before heading to the house because we couldn’t hear the door in my grandmas room. We had so many people staying with us and they never showed any type of frustration with having all our family members around trying to “help” them or even just to learn or observe. They explained every step of what they do and why. Agnes and Meline even called us to offer their condolences. Jenny and the doctor took their time with my mom. For the first week, she wasn’t really accepting of the fact this was my grandmas last few days. The doctor pulled my mom away and patiently explained what was to come. The chaplain was so great and let us know that even if they are unresponsive they may still hear us so make the conversations nearby light and something they would enjoy hearing. The social worker, Vilmarie, really went above and beyond. She helped us advocate for my grandmas care and was there every single step of the way for us. She made the calls to the funeral home for us and just took over so we can cry and grieve with our family. Overall, the team was exactly what we needed to get through this difficult time and I’m really greatful they were here for my grandma and my mom.
