Evergreen Funeral Home & Cemetery

I have shared a property line with this company/business/cemetery for over 16 years and they have always been a good nieghbor. Recently I appeared at their office unannounced and asked to speak with them about an issue of a large tree overhanging my yard. They listened and Jim Caskey the director came to my home to see. Within a week they had taken care of the issue. Good Neighbors!!!

This is a very late review as my grandmother passed in 2025. However, the respect and compassion this funeral home shown me during the process was absolutely commendable. I worked with Ashlee and she was the kindest person I could have ever hoped to work with during such a sensitive time. Every employee I encountered was very professional, and knowledgeable. They were able to answer any questions I had quickly, sincerely, and wisely. Each step of the process was simply outlined and explained with plenty of time for questions. My family had presumptively agreed to provide a celebration of life outside of the funeral home, and not once was I pressured to use their wake/funeral services. I was provided a packet outlining their tier of products but was never asked nor persuaded to change my mind. Ashlee handled the communication between the life insurance company and the funeral home which was incredibly helpful. I honestly cannot express my gratitude enough for the team at Evergreen.

I’m so upset how this place allowed this to happen. People paid good money for their loved ones to be put there. How is this acceptable with the owners and management of this place when you put your loved ones there and they’re floating in water and the graves are sinking. How do these people live with their self that runs this place and plus owners ??? This is disgusting and uncalled for management should be taken care of the grounds much better than what they have been.. The way it looks Management hasn’t been doing their job or the owners either you can tell by looking. . There’s got to be rules and regulations to these cemeteries and I’m gonna find them. . Just put my niece there not by my choice . I will be putting BBB on this ASAP whoever else that can help . If you don’t want take care of the property. Then they should held liable to move these peoples to a different cemetery at the cost of Evergreen!!! I know ONE thing for SURE this place has no problem TAKING YOUR MONEY!!! They charge thousands of dollars for their services and plot there . One last thing “ HOW does Evergreen management or the OWNERS lay there heads at night ????

They were super kind, compassionate and helped navigate me thru it all. Renn was so kind and helpful. But Kate was the one who helped me plan everything for my mom and to say she was absolutely amazing was an understatement! I couldn’t have went thru any of it without her, and I’m so thankful she helped us!

Kate helped me arrange the perfect visitation for my husband. THEN, she helped me coordinate a final SuperDuty ride with my husband's UAW brothers as they carried his casket to his final resting place in the bed of the SuperDuty truck (used in local parades. A first for UAW local 862, Pres Todd Dunn & VP Marcus Sheckles.) Thank you, Kate & thank you, receptionist Kim! EDIT: Thanks to Charles for all the years he serviced Aaron's pre-need account (beginning in 2016), continuing through until his service in Nov 2024. The marker & vase was delivered/installed earlier this year and Charles stayed on it to ensure it was completed before I had to go out of town for 3 months. ❤
