Broward Monument

We recently worked with Broward Monument to replace my grandmother's headstone. It was a pleasure working with David and his team from start to finish. Easy to communicate with and responsive when contacted. They explained what the process would entail as well as the expected timing of completion. David showed empathy, knowledge and patience during the design process. Going over it until we were satisfied and presented us with a quality product. We were very pleased with the end result; and will definitely do business with Broward Monument again in the future! Thank you!

David and Jamie are excellent. They made a difficult, emotional process so much easier--10/10 would recommend. I have ordered from this company 3 times and each time they have set the bar higher with their professionalism and communication

*****Update as of March 17, 2026. Because of my terrible experience with David Lederman (New owner) and not fulfilling his verbal agreement with me, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. David didn't like the resolution of the credit card company despite him having a fair opportunity to respond to the dispute, which he did. The credit card company worked out a fair and equitable resolution. David did not like the decision of the credit card company, so he went to my mother's grave site and STOLE the flower vase attached to her gravestone. Who does that? David is a sick man. What kind of legitimate businessman does that? Stay away from this sick thug. David, I don't know about Philadelphia, but in Florida, damaging or removing anything from a cemetery monument is a FELONY. I have filed a report with the police. The theft has been documented with the police. It is now up to the police and State Attorney's Office as to what happens next. All I know is, no family should ever have to go through this. Stay away from this place as long as David is there. I hope by conveying my terrible experience here, I can save another family from having to go through this.***** What a terrible, awful, disappointing experience with new owner David Letterman. Don't be fooled, the prior owner Roger Hampton is gone. My interaction with David started out fine, he was accommodating and friendly in the beginning. After I signed the contract and paid for the stone in full, up front, my mistake and then the real David surfaced. After I paid for the stone, I had not heard from David. I called him to ask what the status was. He said it was still in production and would soon be done and installed. I asked him if he could add a few words to my mom's stone. He said he didn't know, he would check and get back to me. Another week passed without any news. I just happened to stop by the cemetery and to my shock, the stone had been installed and without the additional wording I inquired about. I called David and asked him why he installed the stone without getting back to me first. I tried to explain to him, I was very upset and disappointed that he completely disregarded our conversation about the additional wording and went ahead and installed the stone as is. David became irate. His words to me were "I don't need to be lectured by you" and he hung up on me. David has no empathy and no compassion. He is dealing with grieving families, he does not belong in this business. As long as David owns Broward Monument, Stay Away!!!

Jaime and David were incredibly nice and helpful throughout everything. The price was very reasonable, and we never felt rushed or pressured into anything. They truly gave us what we needed and more. Everyone should call Broward monument before being pushed into a mediocre monument from the cemetery. It took me over a year to finalize what I wanted and Roger and his team were patient and helpful the entire time. Never pushy or trying to rush me. They helped make the most beautiful monument I have ever seen to honor the most beautiful person in my life. Thank you so much for helping me with the most difficult time of my life. Highly recommend!
