Mallard Cove is the place for your loved ones to call home!! The staff TRULY cares about the residents. This is obvious from the minute you walk in the front door and are greeted with a smile and friendly words. All of the staff does a great job in making it truly feel like home, because IT IS their home.
When needs of residents arise, they are met and exceeded by compassionate staff very quickly. Mallard Cove offers many activities for residence to enjoy including crafts, exercises, card games, bingo, music concerts and more.
The residential community is very friendly and approachable.
My dad is very happy at Mallard Cove and that gives my family peace of mind knowing he is well cared for from aides, LPNs, therapist, maintenance, and management like Kelli, Sandy, Brooke Chloe, Marie, Mendiola, Michelle, Theresa, Taniesha and both Racheal’s just to name a few. Many many more could be listed. IfI didn’t state your name, just know you are all very appreciated!
I highly recommend Mallard Cove Assisted Living and give it 5 stars plus!

Several years ago my mother had opportunity to live and share in the experiences of Mallard Cove. She was so proud of all of their resources available to her. My most cherished memories were of her fishing and giggling like a teenager. The staff was exemplary and patient. They never once expressed nor exhibited anything but joy to all of their residents. I associate the words ‘great quality of life’ with Mallard Cove. I continue to refer Mallard Cove as a 5 star ‘state Standard’ in senior living and quality care facility!

My mother was a resident, first in the independent living, then in the Willows memory care unit, for 9 years. I would choose Mallard Cove, especially The Willows, again for my mom. Mom made a "best friend,' Hannah, on the independent side, and they attended all the activities and had meals together. But, mom needed memory care after 3 years on the independent side.
Alzheimer's is just awful, but the caregivers are knowledgeable and more importantly, they CARE about the residents. The activities staff is creative, innovative, and very much aware of how engaging activities are therapeutic and contribute to a high quality of life while seniors with memory illness slowly "fade away." My favorite (of many) memories was a Mother's Day Tea; Nancy, the activities aide, planned a tea party for families to celebrate our moms on Sunday afternoon, complete with beautiful china settings, tea, and sweets. it was the last time my sisters and I enjoyed a cup of tea with my mom, something we'd done since we were teenagers. My mom had a stroke 2 days later, and died after 14 days. Without Nancy's initiative, we would not have this memory. From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Sandy at the reception desk, you feel like part of a family. I can't think of anywhere else I would place a loved one in their final years on this earth. I am beyond grateful for the Mallard Cove "family"/staff who helped make Mom's last years safe, happy, and comforting. They made a hard time less painful.

I gave Mallard cove 5 stars because I wasn't able to give them any more. Having to put a parent into a facility is a hard decision to make, but knowing that they are being well taken care of by a staff that truly cares about their residents has made the decision so much easier. The staff treats the residents like they are their own family and they always make sure there are always fun activities to do. They love having fun and making sure all of their residents are having fun as well. I love the nice warm vibe I receive every time I walk through the front door and I am always greeted by smiling faces. It was a very scary time when we realized it was time for my mom to be moved to a home, but Mallard cove has made the transition very easy. They are always open to answer any of our questions and I am so glad we were able to find them.

Our Mom has lived at Mallard Cove for several years. She was first a resident in Assisted Living and then needed to move to the memory care side, called The Willows. We have great things to say about both sides- caring & compassionate staff, on time meds, nutritious meals with variety, and lots of fun on site activities. As our Mom has steadily declined through her Alzheimer’s, they have continued to tailor her care so that she can thrive as much as possible. We highly recommend Mallard Cove Senior Living!
