This place is absolutely revolting. Downstairs looks decent when you walk in but that's where it ends. This place is nasty it smells a males restroom that has never been clean. The smell is worse than a portable potty you find outside that's been abandoned in the desert heat. There's a social worker there named Míriam Acevedo and she is useless and rude truly doesn't deserve a job. The other social worker I spoke to plus the supervisor also very useless but Míriam is my grandmother's social worker and she is absolutely useless and her attitude is ugly nasty and disgusting. She thinks she is helping but she is not. The staff doesn't know where the patients are and only way to find out is by asking other patients and hope they are coherent enough to be accurate. Lazy people working here no real security don't even have to show identification to enter just take a picture right a name and click yes on the screen. You could bring drugs and weapons all throughout the place and they wouldn't even know. Just horrible disgusting and unsafe and a literal bathroom that they store the elderly and the sick people at to make money. I'd give no stars but that's not an option

In this second time of my visit I just notice that the building having around 6 elevator, only 2 is worcking, the rest they dont open. Another issue that the elevator are really slow to arrive. The buttons seems to have some technical issue cause when you press the botton the lite of that botton comes a few minuts that it turn off by it self, so you have to press it again to call the elevator for the 2 time.

I visited a family member at New Vista and had a mixed but mostly disappointing experience. The social worker was helpful and gave our family useful information about therapy, care planning, and follow-up. I appreciated that. However, when we arrived, my family member’s clothing and bedding were dirty/wet, and she was upset and uncomfortable. We had to alert staff more than once, and I changed her clothing myself while waiting for the bedding to be addressed. Her bedding was eventually changed, but it took more effort than I expected for a basic care need. She was also complaining of severe mouth/gum/tongue pain. Tylenol was given, but the communication around next steps for dental/provider follow-up was unclear. I’m grateful for the staff who were helpful, but my overall first impression was concerning. I hope communication and responsiveness improve, especially around cleanliness, pain complaints, and resident dignity.

My name is Linda Boyd. I have been a resident at New Vista 5 times for short term therapy. Each time I come here, I love my experience. The care is excellent, the staff are amazing, and the food is good. I have stayed at different facilities before and felt ignored and overlooked, but not at New Vista. They truly care. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I had a great experience at this rehabilitation center. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and truly cared for. The therapy team was supportive and helped me make real progress, and the nurses and aides were always kind and attentive. I also loved the special events and activities—they made my stay more enjoyable and helped me feel like more than just a patient. The facility was clean, comfortable, and overall a great place to heal. I’m very grateful for the care I received and would definitely recommend this center to others.
