Working with Scott at Katzman Monument was so nice. At a difficult time, he was so helpful and understanding. He helped me with the designing of my husband‘s marker, and would always come up with good suggestions for me, which made my decisions so much easier. It turned out absolutely beautiful!! I cannot say enough positive things about working with Scott at Katzman Monument. Losing a loved one is already an extremely difficult time, going through the details of a funeral and then finding a monument to honor them adds to the stress of everything else. Scott had the task of finding/creating a monument to match my late father's monument, that passed away over 50 years ago. Times, materials and processes have changed a lot and all I had to go off of were old receipts from back then. He took the time, research, several phone calls to recreate a monument for our mother to match our father's. He then had to deal with tariff delays, finding granite, and skilled tooling experts domestically to create the perfect monument to honor our mother. He came out to the cemetery not once, not twice, maybe even more than three times (honestly, I lost count) to make sure he took enough pictures to make sure it looked as close to if not exact to our father's. He worked with the director of the cemetery, clergy and anyone else to make sure everything was done to perfection, everyone was kept in the loop on timing, and he did it with honesty and compassion. Truth be told anyone in his position, his business could take advantage of customer's vulnerability, emotional state and I am here to tell you, that is the furthest from his and this company's mind. They are customer first, product first, business last. They care about the people and their product and their reputation. Something that seems to be lost in a lot of places today. If you need this service, and I hope you don't for obvious reasons, but if you do, this is the ONLY place you should go for your loved one's monument.

We worked with Scott to create a grave marker and have only good things to say. He was very helpful in putting together a great gravestone that is perfect for us. His communication was excellent from start to finish. The finished stone is beautiful! I would highly recommend you talk to Scott when it comes time to create your own!

Scott was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Scott was also wonderful with keeping me informed of every step of this process. As a former business owner I know how hard it is to keep everyone happy, but Scott did a great job and we even became friends in the process. My sister passed away without funeral plans or a will after a short hospice. She appointed me her attorney in fact to handle her affairs. After her passing, probate court appointed me the personal rep of her estate. I became the funeral director by default. Of course, the celebration of life service required planning, etc. That included ordering a grave stone. I went on line and then phoned Katzman Monument, talked with Scott Fields. I knew from the start he was my guy. Direct, courteous, helpful, explained the ins and outs with the 2023 supply chain issues affecting his business among others. Placing the stone was a long process, but easy with his help. I highly recommend Scott and Katzman. They know how to manage and keep grievers up to date; making one less thing to worry about.
