I highly recommend this family-owned business. From start to finish, the entire staff showed genuine compassion and empathy during such a difficult time. They cared for my father as if he were their own family member, which brought our family great comfort. I am truly grateful to the McKenzie Mortuary team for their kindness and professionalism. I went to McKenzie in Long Beach in search of a mortuary. I had already visited other mortuaries prior to McKenzie. Unfortunately, this place felt and looked very creepy inside. Dark, GHOSTLY AND HAUNTED looking. Definitely not a peaceful serene, tranquil vibe going on here. I could not walk out fast enough. I had to cut the conversation short with person showing me the place. .

We have been using McKenzie Mortuary Services since 1997 when my Father passed suddenly and my Mother had heard of Ken McKenzie in Signal Hill. We went to his place of Business and met with Ken himself, what a Professional Businessman. The Staff at McKenzie Mortuary are Professional and never push you into something you don’t need. I have used them for 6 family members and have prepaid for my own Funeral Services. I have referred several friends to McKenzie and they have always been satisfied with the services provided.

My Dad recently passed away (He was on hospice for a couple months) McKenzie Mortuary was there for us every step of the way. They were in great communication with me throughout the whole process. The day of the services, everything came out amazing. My Father looked amazing!!! The makeup team did an AMAZING job. My Dad no longer looked sick, he looked healthy and peaceful for his final goodbye and for that, i am forever grateful! Even months after the service, McKenzie Mortuary went out their way to check in on me and my grief. They are very thoughtful and care about their customers. Once again, amazing and exceptional service throughout the whole team. I will highly recommend McKenzie Mortuary to my family, friends, neighbors, and any locals. Thank you for the amazing services, and making each family’s last goodbye a beautiful one!

I can't begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the staff at McKenzie Mortuary. When my father passed away my mother entrusted me with planning my father's funeral service. I honestly wasn't sure if I could handle it but I knew I had to. When I arrived at McKenzie I received a warm welcome, comforting smiles and the reassure that they would do all they could to make the planning process as easy as possible. They gave us an affordable plan, allowed us time to arrange burial services and made sure my father's funeral was just the way he wanted it. I especially want to thank Erika for being so compassionate, professional and attentive to our needs. I'm so happy that I took the journey of laying my beloved father to rest with McKenzie Mortuary. They will forever have a special place in my heart ❤
