Reviews do not tell the whole story…Note that the newest reviews are 2 years old. COVID hit in 2020. People get sick, very sick, and succumbs to the disease while trying continually to do their best to meet customer demands. People behind the scenes work double time getting things done the best they can. Be patient. Be kind. Slaton’ Monument has always held on to customer commitment, courtesy, support, and value.

Has anyone else been having issues with this company? We paid off my mom’s headstone and have yet to hear anything from them. The last time we did have contact was with a man and he couldn’t find our account and then he said we still owe one payment. How can someone do this to people who are mourning the loss of a loved one. This is just unprofessional and unacceptable.

Google won’t allow a 0 star review but this place has extremely bad business etiquette and apparently my family aren’t the only ones that have had a horrible experience with them. They lied to my mom, a grieving mother, on multiple occasions. It has been over a year since she purchased and paid for my little brother’s monument and she was still getting the run around. After calling several times to check on it and being told she’d get the proof the next day, she paid them a visit and of course was told the owner wasn’t available. My mom emailed the owner asking for her money back and to cancel the order immediately. The only response she received was “your check is in the mail.” There was no apology or reason for the awful treatment. She had a much better experience at another business but now will be longer before my brother has a meaningful monument at his resting place. SHAME ON YOU Slaton Monument for putting a mother through something so horrific twice. I assure you I will blast your business all over social media.

We order a stone for my son. And I was told that they where be out the week after the Fourth of July to set the stone. And it has been one lie after another. To the point that we ask for are money back. Went to a place across the road. And they will have it set in one month. Just so you see why I left this review. My son passed away October 21 it’s now July 23.

I would've given them 5 stars over 20 years ago when they handled my late husband's headstone in a timely and professional manner (perhaps they've changed owners?) However, we lost our beloved mother in April of last year and my father has yet to receive their dual headstone. They do not update him, nor my sister who was with him at the time of purchase. We got stern with them a few months ago and they promised it by early January. Here we are in February and still no headstone, no phone call to update the family, etc. My father is 85 years old and spent quite a good sum of money. This is no way to treat customers, much less repeat customers. I would recommend going elsewhere!!!!
