Unprofessional and Very Rude. If you’re looking for something specific, don’t go with them. They use precasted foundations, which isn’t an issue as long as they are properly sized. They take offense to customers asking questions about the work they are being paid to do. They’re not doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. It’s a business and customers are going to ask questions. This is not uncommon. As a business owner, when customers contact me and inquire about my services and my procedures for delivering those services, that is their right to ask. They are clearly in it just for money. Their work is subpar and many of the monuments are placed on foundations that are significantly smaller than the base of the monuments.

I can’t praise Salazar Monument and the staff enough. I considered us a difficult client. There were 4 different opinions in 3 towns and 2 states and 2 time zones. From the time we initially reached out to the placement of the stones Salazar has been amazing. All of the design work was done through email with multiple changes. We (the family) even took a hiatus from dealing with this and decided to get back after it and when we reached out to Salazar Monument, they picked up right where we left off. They even arranged a time to meet at the office (outside of normal hours) just to accommodate us. It’s 2026 and I’m just so thankful that customer service is still able to be found! Thank you for everything Salazar Monument! Your team is AMAZING!!

They did an outstanding job on my mother-in-law's headstone. Easy to work with and completed the job in the time they estimated. I really appreciated that they put a concrete foundation down. Shows their quality of work. Will definitely recommend you guys to everyone in the Lubbock area.

I highly recommend Salazar Monuments. They assisted my aunt from Atlanta Georgia via phone to make her brothers headstones they never had before, to beautiful markers.
