Seaboard Memorial Specialists

Over 48 years ago, Seaboard Memorials honored my father with a veteran’s grave maker. I was too young to be involved in the arrangements back then but in May of this year, I found myself in the position of honoring my mother. I choice to use Seaboard Memorials for that company to honor my mother. Finding yourself in the position of having to shop for headstones is a tough position to be in, but when I called the company, I spoke with Mr. Hawkins, I simply just asked what time do they closed. They were open, so I drove over to find a “By appointment Only” sign on the door. Expecting to be turned away, Mr. Lawrence Hawkins welcomed me and my wife into the showroom and began answering our questions and making us feel comfortable, and still having the file on my father’s grave marker from 1975. Sitting down to make plans on the stone, he added input on ideas that we agreed on, even coloring in the rose icon that we added to the top. Stated that the stone will be in within 60-90 days and not knowing how much stones cost nowadays, the price was reasonable. We left feeling that we made my mother proud on the decision. Mr. Hawkins kept us updated on the status and the stone arrived within the timeframe that was told to us. After making the final approval and one small change, he had the stone done and installed within a week. When I saw his email with the photos of the headstone installed beside my fathers, it was a sad sight to see, but it was beautiful. I instantly contacted my family in the area telling them that it was installed since I don’t live in the area. My father was the first to see it and said that it was the best looking stone within eye sight from my mothers. The red rose that Mr. Hawkins painted stood out and could be seen from the road. When I had the chance to see the headstone in person, the photos didn’t do his work justice, Mr. Hawkins surpassed what I was expecting. I can’t thank Mr. Hawkins and his company enough. I hope I won’t be in the need of his service again anytime soon, but when that time comes, I know that Mr. Hawkins and Seaboard Memorial will honor my family.

had a headstone made for my grandfather. they exceeded my expectations.brought tears of joy to my eyes and feeling my grandfather that much closer inside me to continue to guide me on my journey .

We paid this company to engrave our mom gravestone last May... still not done. Finally went to him today and he made all kinds of excuses like weather(raining today) finally he refunded the money by check. The check was cashed sucessfully(miracles never cease)

Horrible. Avoid at all costs. Paid in full in December for two small headstones and here we are in mid July with nothing...except for plenty of excuses. Find a reputable company for your loved one!
