Losing my dad was one of the most difficult life events thus far. We really didn’t know where to turn or what came next. We were referred to Hansen and were told “they were great!” That is an understatement!! Amber was truly amazing. She made such a difficult time more bearable with her sincerity and empathy. The entire staff was wonderful. When we arrived to pick up my dad’s cremains, Amber walked us out to the garden area and a staff member was standing with him, making sure he wasn’t alone. My mom has received follow up letters that have brought her comfort. Our journey with Hansen didn’t end the day we took dad home. Their follow up care and encouragement continued! We are forever thankful!

From the moment I made the phone call to set up services for my mother to the time we laid her to rest, the staff at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary & Cemetery were helpful, caring, and deeply supportive. Words truly can’t express the compassion they showed or the care they took in making sure our family was okay every step of the way. I am especially thankful for the attentive and heartfelt care from Trish, Cami, Larae, Marcela, and Wendi. Molly, the comfort dog, was also a blessing to have around and gave us the extra comfort we needed during such a difficult time. During one of the hardest times in our lives, they treated us with kindness, dignity, and respect. We will always be grateful.

My brother passed unexpectedly. My family was heart broken and numb when we walked into Hansen. They were so understanding. They guided us through the planning of his celebration of life with patience and care. The service was perfect. Nicole, the celebrant who ran the service was incredible. Even after the service, they have taken the time to check in on my family. I cannot recommend Hansen enough. They are as asset to our community.
