I am so thankful Andrea, Christian, Tania and the others at Americare came into my life when they did. I had just moved my 96 year old mother into memory care and things weren't going well at the facility. All of this was new to me, what expectations should I have of the facility? Why is my mom acting this way? They helped me understand what expectations I should have. They helped guide me as mom's dementia progressed and she presented new challenges for caregivers. The hospice team worked directly with the facility on care plans and always presented me with clearly defined alternative paths for care. This group was always there for me and my mom. Only now, weeks after my mom's passing, do I understand how blessed we were and how special this team is.
