Caring Hands Palliative and Hospice Care

Dr.Sharma is an angel- truly one of the first people over the past several months of my dads decline that took the time and care to listen and understand that his situation had so many pieces and my dad was in need of someone paying attention, even despite it being near his inevitable end. Dr. Sharma was supportive and helped answer any questions, anytime. The care my dad received in the last week of his life from the team, largely from his nurse Katie, was a gift in a time of incredible chaos, stress, and sadness. My dad was not someone that was easy to please but he felt at ease with the team and had immediate trust- I’d say a gut feeling he was in the right hands. Katie or “Queen Katie” as my dad would say showed so much compassion to him and my family, even after his passing. I will never ever forget her or this team.

Dr. Sharma has put together an amazing team. They went above and beyond when it came to the end of life care for my brother in law, David. Special thanks to Lewis, Misty and Emma for providing invaluable care and incredible compassion. Their dedication, professionalism and heart were greatly appreciated by our family. A bright light in an otherwise dark time.

Caring Hands Palliative delivered exceptional hospice care for my mother, with Dr. Sharma providing clear, compassionate medical guidance and Lewis and Michelle offering unparalleled availability—always ready to answer texts or calls at any hour—so we never felt alone or uncertain. Their holistic approach combined expert symptom management with heartfelt emotional support, creating a peaceful, dignified environment that brought comfort to my mother and deep reassurance to our family throughout a difficult time.

In November 2024 our world was completely turned upside down when my brother got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Dr Sharma stepped right in and promised to take the best care of him, and he did that and more. Sadly, my brother passed away only 17 short weeks later, but in that short time Dr Sharma and his entire staff were incredible. From how they cared for my brother, along with their kindness and support to myself and our family, means the world to us. They were there at any time of the day or night, always going above and beyond to provide advice, comfort, support, and above all the best medical care possible. I can’t thank them enough for their care during the heartbreaking journey we were enduring. Nobody wants to have to consider a palliative or hospice care for themselves or someone they love, but sadly it happens. If I could give 10 stars I would. I have honestly never met a better team of amazing individuals as I have with Dr. Sharma with the help of Lewis and others. They were the light in the darkness of my mothers hospice care and were available anytime I needed comfort, answers, and all around assistance during the rapid decline of my mother. They even continued to check in on my father after her passing to make sure he was ok. Dr. Sharma is an angel of hospice and a truly amazing individual and I will forever remember his heart, compassion and generosity in my mothers last days.
