Every individual at peace of mind funeral cremation services were kind and compassionate and caring. It was a beautiful experience. Thank you again for the help with my grandson.

I struggled with giving 3 stars and contemplated on even doing a review, but do want others to know my experience. Yes, Peace of Mind is less expensive than others, but don’t try to cut costs because you truly get what you pay for. Everything was “ok” up until I picked up my mom’s ashes. A woman greeted me at the door and didn’t ask for any ID or anything. Within a few minutes, she handed me my mom’s ashes and had me sign some paperwork. As I was leaving, she says “Happy New Year, have a great day” I literally just picked up my mom’s ashes and you are telling me to have a great day?! Very unprofessional in my opinion… no compassion or words of sympathy! The death certificate also had my mom’s maiden name spelled wrong. I called to tell them and shortly after got a call back from the owner who said I called back to give a different spelling of my mom’s name! Now why in the world would I call back and give you an incorrect spelling of her name?! That NEVER happened, however I did not have the energy to argue with him. He made a mistake and tried to blame me! Then had the audacity to tell me I have to pay for another death certificate if I want one with her correct maiden name! I would not recommend them to anyone! In times like this, a little compassion and kindness goes a long way and that is something I do not feel that I got any step of the way during this whole process.

My Dad passed away 17 years ago, but I still remember the kindness and grace and just down to earth good warmheartedness that Robert provided. If there was a good side to all of this it was that my dad was no longer in pain, and Robert and his team were just so easy to work with. Really... This is the only team I'd ever call upon if I had relatives still in Milwaukee or the burbs.

Recently I had to work with the family of a Veteran who passed away. Robert and the staff at Peace of Mind were absolutely amazing in helping them plan and carry out the service. The space was absolutely wonderful and you could tell how much care and love went into making sure everything was perfect. Robert delivered a wonderful graveside service the next day. Overall an amazing experience filled with care, compassion and empathy. Everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and respect. Thank you for helping this family and making a tough time for them that much easier.

I spoke with Robert Sr, this morning. He was very clear and candid with the pricing and respectful. nobody ever prepares for the death of a loved one, but when you have somebody professional willing to essentially drop everything with the understanding that there’s a lot going on it means a lot. professional service with good rates.
