Compassus

This is the absolute WORST hospice agency. You have a choice!!!!! Find another hospice agency. Issues we had include: Inexperienced staff Argued with family Poor communication skills Direct care staff was somewhat responsive; agency was not One aide was amazing Disregarded family AND patient wishes for medication- lack of respect TEXTED condolences from main RN Condolence letter sent to the daughter, "sorry for the loss of your husband." Equipment was outdated, including Manual hoyer lift for a 180 man, cheap bed, old, rickety Geri chair Left large amounts of controlled substances for us to dispose after our dad passed Offered online (!) "Support" and phone apps for a grieving widow... 90 yrs old! One star is one too many.

Stephanie, Stephen and Jakira helped me and my family navigate through the Hospice process and with their care and compassion My aunt was able to pass away peacefully and without pain. They were all there for us as much as we needed without question.

I can't say enough positive things about our family's experience with this company. They showed genuine compassion, respect and professionalism towards our family. They were also very timely in the signing process which another agency was not. Thank you so much to Kelly and her team.

My experience with Compassus has been amazing. Camille a Social Worker has been great, helped me realize some of the stress factors I'm going through, with my mother' ssituation. The nurses Shawna and Kathy are very communicative with me, and very kind to my mother. When I text or call, they respond, they update, and follow up. As well as the Hospice Aide Heidi. I'm very pleased with their genuine feeling of caring, my mother enjoys the time they spend with her.

I recommend Compassus to anyone who needs Hospice support. I worked closely with Stephen and Angela, who cared for my partner in his last stage of early onset Alzheimer’s. They provided incredible care. They were amazing – kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. They worked creatively to find the best solutions for comfort, as Alzheimer’s is very difficult to manage. The medication plan was carefully and frequently adjusted , and the family appreciated being kept updated and involved. Their dedication made a huge difference. Stephen and Angela didn’t just do their job, they were also very personal , recognizing difficult family situation. I can’t thank them enough , there are no words that can fully express my gratitude
