As the Administrator of Jasmine Estates Memory Care, I am grateful for our partnership with Legacy Family Hospice.
Their team is always a welcome sight in our community, from their compassionate nurses and shower aides to their marketing liaison Micah, who never disappoints when he visits with his gentle giant of a dog, Murphy! Erica truly lights up the room and consistently goes above and beyond by bringing meaningful, dementia-specific activities and events to our residents.
It is clear that the entire team, including owner Chris, is deeply dedicated to both their patients and their industry partners. Their confidence, joy, and servant-hearted spirit reflect a true calling to hospice care.
Thank you, Legacy Family Hospice, for all you do for Jasmine Estates Memory Care!

I have only written 3 reviews before and never a negative review until now. We contacted Legacy Family Hospice while my 92 year old mother was in a rehabilitation facility recovering from a broken hip. She had experienced a substantial decline after the surgery and would be returning to her assisted living facility. There were some red flags at the beginning but this was our first experience with a hospice group so we didn't know what was normal and what was out of the ordinary. It took 5 days for Legacy to meet with my mom from my initial call. I had indicated that her time in rehab was very short before we would be moving back to her assisted living and needed to know if we should make other plans should she not qualify for hospice. They arrived with 1 day left leaving us with virtually no options to acquire the necessary medical equipment through other channels in time. There was no sense of urgency on their part. First red flag. Once she returned, the aide who was assigned to assist with her showers, did not show up for a week. Second red flag. I then proceeded to move forward with the occupational and physical therapy that we had discussed and, according to the information they provided, part of their services. This was not going to be rehabilitative but simply quality of life therapy that appeared to be part of their philosophy. Despite numerous requests through various channels by me, the therapist and the staff at her assisted living facility, they would not approve her therapy for 11 days despite Medicare already approving it. When I was finally able to meet with their clinical director, complete disinterest in my mother's care became evident to me and we moved to put other arrangements in place. Apparently she and the other point of contact went on vacation with no out of office messages, forwarding or other individuals filling in. Given that they are dealing with end of life circumstances, it is particularly troubling to me. The compassion and care we had hoped they could provide for my mother did not occur. The time it cost her is something we will not get back. I hope this saves another family from a similar experience.

We brought my mother home to her assisted living center after two weeks in the hospital. Legacy Family Hospice was with us every minute of her move from hospital to her home and then two weeks later a move to my home. They are a kind, compassionate, caring and highly professional team that got us through an extremely hard and emotional time. Mother received excellent care, they always knew what she needed before we did and it was always provided immediately. Our after hours nurse was absolutely amazing as was our daily nurses and aides! They showed great concern for not only my mother but our entire family. Wonderful job ladies and Legacy Family Hospice!! Words cannot express our appreciation for you all!!! Thank you all!!

Legacy Family Hospice has been providing care for our dad, and we are so pleased with the quality of care provided. Leah, the nurse, is so compassionate and kind, not only with dad, but also with the rest of our family. My parents absolutely love her, and so do we! Mona is so gentle and kind to dad during his showers, and always treats him with the utmost respect. Cord, the chaplain, visits often to encourage and pray with both of our parents. This is important to them and we certainly appreciate his time and kind efforts. Emily, Kim and others have also been active in dad's care, and we could not ask for better caregivers. Chris Hamilton has done an amazing job of assembling top-notch staff, and I would not hesitate to recommend Legacy Family Hospice.
