During one of the hardest moments of my life, King David Mortuary was everything I could have needed and more. Last evening, the Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center, together with the Holocaust Memorial Plaza at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, had the honor of hosting an International and Nevada State Holocaust Remembrance Day program at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery. The evening was deeply meaningful, and as one of the main facilitators of the program, I was very impressed by the camaraderie, professionalism, and genuine support shown by the team at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery and Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery. From the earliest stages of planning through the conclusion of the program, every detail was handled with care, sensitivity, and intention. The administrative leadership—including Celena DiLullo, President of Palm Mortuaries & Cemeteries; Matt Phillips, General Manager of Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery; Brian Karl, Funeral Operations Supervisor; and Jay Poster, General Manager of King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery—went above and beyond to ensure that the program was executed flawlessly and with dignity. The team’s presence, responsiveness, and hands-on involvement made all the difference. This extraordinary organization exemplifies what it means to serve a community. While they are known for providing compassionate and professional care during end-of-life needs, they also demonstrate a deep commitment to honoring history, educating future generations, and supporting meaningful causes that strengthen the community as a whole. I am profoundly grateful for their partnership, generosity, and unwavering support, and I look forward to continuing this important work together.

Two months ago, Jay and Sheryl helped me when I needed them. They gave good advice, and took care of the logistics of transporting my just-deceased mother from another state. They made it as easy for me as was possible. At the funeral service in the Chapel, Jay facilitated a last minute change I requested, and we had a lovely service. All the staff were so helpful to our family and friends. At the gravesite, rows of comfortable chairs and a canopy were already set up. Sheryl was nearby to make sure all our traditions went smoothly, and my mother was given a respectful burial. Thank you all for your expertise and compassion.
