Our family feels so lucky to have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. We were staying at a hotel before we got accepted at RMHC for the last week of our son’s therapies. Instantly we felt like we were staying at a cozy house! There are so many meals and the kitchen is stocked. Laundry detergent is provided and almost anything you’d need! They have a rec room and small library that is so sweet. There is a fitness room too and the toy room has tons of excellent development toys for kids of all abilities and ages. They also have a nice playground including adaptive swings which is gonna be great for our son when he is big enough! There is a grill too. All in all amazing experience, we felt so cared for and just shocked by the generosity of so many people including the volunteers!! Thank you to everyone RT one at RMHC!!

The Ronald McDonald house is a blessing to families as they have halos. In the early 90s my son had meningitis with encephalitis and was in iCU when we were told his brain was swelling and he had to go into emergency surgery to insert a shunt in to relieve and measure pressure! He was put into a chemical coma so his body wouldn’t cause stress on his brain. My husband and I NEVER left his side until the 3rd night when a lady from the Ronald McDonald house came and spoke with us and said we could sleep there and was still very close to the hospital. It was the old RMD house and when Brack Was still open . One of us were always by my sons side and my husband chose to be there nights so I could sleep and I stayed all day and he slept during the day. His company every day catered food for the whole house ❤️. . My son had a hard uphill climb. When they took him off all the meds , he well, had to learn how to walk, talk, and speak all over again . So I had to make him my full time job and it was 8 hours + a day for OT, PT, Speech Therapy and whatever training he needed . My son turned 8 years old in ICU in a Coma . Today, he is fine! He does have some disabilities from all this but he compensates. He works a full time job and is a nighttime manager. He will always be my miracle baby

Here only to drop off 10 lbs of recyclable aluminum can pulltabs as per their fundraising, we found: the staff to be friendly; the facilities clean, beautiful, and inviting; and the aromas wafting from the kitchen indicating delicious!

On our many stays there, we were treated with compassion and courtesy. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. The meals provided by volunteers are amazing. When you truly have the weight of the world on your shoulders and are overcome with worry, anxiety and concern for your child, there really is no better place to be. Always donate your change at McDonald's. It's good for the soul!

Friendly staff and amazing cause. My group volunteered to buy and cook breakfast for the families staying their. Everything there is volunteer and domain based which allows families too stay for free while medical care from the hospital is given.
