I would love to express my gratitude for the dedication in service that was displayed from the initial phone call to the end of burial service. Rodney from Mickeys Sunset Funeral Service was not only courteous at ALL TIMES but made me at ease and worry free during the process. That is what you want when burying a love one. Three time customer. My uncle, grandmother and my father. We entrusted my dad’s final arrangements to Mickey’s Sunset Funeral Home. LFD Rodney was wonderful. He explained everything with great detail and the final service for my father was exactly what we planned for. No hiccups or issues. Rev. Crenshaw’s message was powerful and I know my dad would have approved of the service. Rev. Kennedy sang 2 songs and the song selection was very comforting. Curvell, the Funeral Director, was so kind and comforting and spoke eloquently at the service about our dad’s love of blue. She also embraced many of us with warm hugs. Curvell recited a thoughtful prayer at the cemetery as well. Lastly, my dad looked like he was sleeping peacefully. We arrived safely and timely at the cemetery as well. Highly recommend this funeral home if you want a hassle- free and warm-hearted experience in making final arrangements for your loved one.

I would highly recommend Mickeys Sunset for anyone who is looking for a compassionate, caring and professional service. Mr Hickman and his staff are all of that. My father was laid to rest and he looked natural as if he were sleeping. They did a fine job and the service was very nice. Beautiful words from the pastor Jay Gooding. Organist and songs from a talented singer were amazing.

My sister lost her son on October 17, 2022. As this was a sudden passing; it was certainly a devastating loss for she and our entire family. I assumed the responsibility of preparing funeral arrangements for my nephew, sight unseen, because I reside in North Carolina. Our family did not know what to expect from the services of Mickey’s Sunset but Mr. Rodney Gibbs came highly recommended. All communication between Mr. Gibbs and I were via-phone/text and emails. Mr. Gibbs was professional, polite, pleasant and extremely patient. He is the consummate mortician! On the day of the private family viewing, we were met with a very fine representation of our loved one. As a family, we walked away from the funeral services delivered by Mickey’s Sunset Funeral home; feeling heartbroken but extremely satisfied! My nephew looked absolutely AMAZING!!! He looked just as handsome, as he did in life, while lying in his final resting bed. As an entire family, we were proud to let the world have their own turn to view the AWESOME work performed by the staff at Mickey’s Sunset Funeral Home. We thank you, Mr. Gibbs, for your impeccable service! We highly recommend their services.

I've had a few family members here and they sent them away very beautiful and it's something that we just can't Forget and as we get older this is flat level it's clean and I'm sorry for anyone that doesn't feel the same this is a beautiful place to lay a loved one and Say Goodbye.
