The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The special events put on by the membership are a great way to add a sense of belonging and the bishop makes sure people have great chances to participate and make lots of joy for everyone. Really impresses.

I may be a little biased, but I believe that my congregation in the Kings Road chapel ( Summit Ridge Ward)is one of the most friendly congregations to worship with. We embrace and welcome everyone. After all, isn’t that what being a Christian is? Loving all those that are our brothers and sisters?

Could you please be more respectful to the environment? Your sprinklers run on Mondays, even as Truckee Meadows Water Authority asks that no one waters grass on Mondays. You also generously water the sidewalks. Be a community player if you want to attract the community!

A dearest family member was remembered this day. While his passing had been awhile, his life and memory lives in our hearts forevermore. As we gathered together the church became alive with new members of the family joining the familiar faces that had been missed, just the right spice to the event You could feel the joy as we were blessed with a beautiful piano rendition from one family member we just met. After, we all had some food and shared stories and hugs to the end of a truly wonderful gathering.

This is my mother's church and I love the warm and welcoming feeling I get each time I am here. I can feel a true presence of Christ here and that says a lot in recent months! Blessings to the church and it's mission. (I am a Christian woman and there is no judgement here in this place.)
