Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery

If you love your family. DO NOT, I repeat!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Actually, please, do not even send your enemies here. I have never thought that this will happen to our family. But, it did. We lost a family member. After going through that stages of grief, we need closure. Well, as I type this we have a family member is at this mortuary. Waiting to be embalm. A 4hr procedure. This family member has been there for over 10 days. Need to be embalm as the next step closer to the burial. Family members and the mortuary we are dealing with have asked numerous times "what is going on? What is taking so long?" And all we get for answers is nothing but lies and a run around, passing the buck and blaming others. Totally disgusting. I believe that after loosing a love one, next is the agony of waiting to complete this process. And when you have evil companies like this, they are not helping in alleviating the pain. They don't even deserve a star. May God forgive them for what they are doing. And I also pray for their salvation.

I am very pleased with my experience at My View . I had visited other cemetery because my husband was very ill and it was just a matter of time that I was going to have to go through very difficult time of my life. Visiting the cemetertaties I was not impressed at all customer service was not good . But the moment I walked into Mt. View I felt so comfortable and at peace. . I was impressed with the atmosphere and how beautiful and well keep and clean it looks. It makes you feel very nice when you walk in Customer service was excellent. Your representative were so nice , thoughtful, and caring. Making you feel comforted when you mostly need it. . They didn't waste any time reaching out to us. The next of my husband's passing we were there. I was very appreciative because I wanted closure as soon as it could be possible. They day of the burial everything was so well organized. It ran so smoothly I was relieved I didn't have to worry about anything. Your staff took care of every detail of the funeral. All and all I am so pleased that this will be my resting place when the time comes.

I appreciate the wonderful assistance I received at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery. My grandparents are buried here. Initially I couldn’t find the grave site. The family service gentleman researched and located the site for us. He went out of his way walking the property until he located the old dusty head stone. Also one of the groundskeeper, Robert, stopped by, cleared the grass and cleaned the stone. We were able to see the lovely engraving of nearby mountains along with my grandparents names and dates. His kindness is much appreciated. Thank you Mt. View Cemetery for your patience assistance in making this visit a positive memory for me.

The experience begins when the curator meets the grieving. Erika who is no longer with your company was amazing! Her soft voice and smile felt warm and inviting. While interacting and conversing not once did it feel “transactional” Erika shared her knowledge showed the grounds with no sense of rushing or urgency that she had other duties or families behind me. Her patience, her attention to detail and compassion to ensure my family felt no pressure was phenomenal! Yvonne!!! Wow she has a gift of love and patience. Initially my family and I had selected a date to place my mom in her final resting place but when the date came I was not ready. Instead of pressuring to meet the date agreed Yvonne assured me that she could delay as long as I needed. I had too many episodes than I care to admit where this occurred but never was she annoyed or pushy, quite the opposite she shared words of grace and understanding. When the day finally came she blessed me with the most wonderful experience and peace knowing she would ensure that our moms remains would be handled with care and dignity. Thank you to both 🤍 I hope those who walk on your grounds with heavy hearts and grief get to experience an Erika and Yvonne!!!

Excellent service. Very helpful. Eddie Martinez saw my father and I walking around looking for my uncle's grave and he came up to us and not only helped locate the spot he cleaned the headstone for us. Very nice man. Thank you you made our afternoon.
