Our family had a wonderful experience during a very difficult time. The staff was compassionate, professional and attentive to every detail. They treated our loved one with dignity and respect and guided us through the entire process with patience and understanding.

Richard at Parkway Funeral Home is awesome! He showed so much compassion when my father passed away. I was devastated! He was patient with my family & was always available when we had questions or concerns. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness & for being there for my family during the most difficult time of our lives!

What could have been terrible, the people at the funeral home, won over my heart by all the good work they accomplished!! For me! They were all professional and competent!! A very loving group of people who did a wonderful job of making sure that I was Happy and Loved! Thankyou all so much!

Well, I’ll leave my review as I told the girl who helped me. I’m so very very ashamed for you that you have no sorrow for the ridiculous prices that you charge. I was absolutely stunned and blown away with discussed that you would be bold enough to charge a family $3000 to open and close a burial plot. I’m certain you must be ashamed of your profession as you clearly take advantage of people with these rates I may put her in the ground, but I’ll never come back and visit. I absolutely despise Parkway and I will blow to the wind with my ashes before I ever have funeral plans with you all again.

This was once the premier cemetery for Madison County until SCI Dignity purchased it a long time ago. In 200I, I purchased a companion crypt in their mausoleum for my parents. My father passed in 2006 at which time the streets needed paved and the building maintenance was suspect. In August of 2024, I buried my mother, at which time the place looked terrible and no routine maintenance is occurring.
This past weekend I drove over from Texas and was horrified to see the condition of the mausoleum and the cemetery. First, the front gate was locked for the entrance side and I had to enter on the exit side. The roads are horrific--never having been repaved in decades, and there were small ponds of water in sections of the roadway. The window's seals have failed over the years and they look horrific. The tile floors haven't been buffed and waxed since it was constructed, and the place was dirty, cold and smelled. As I departed, there was a man inside a small SUV with a flashing light on top of it, that said Parkway Memorial Security on the side of it. Who has to have security at a cemetery? Why was the entrance gate locked on a Sunday at noon? I don't know what is going on there but am about to get to the bottom of it. I am absolutely horrified that my parents are there and am prepared to file complaints with the state regarding the lack of perpetual care of the cemetery. Is this were you want your loved one to permanently rest?
