Hospice Care Network at Northwell

I am grateful for Hospice Care Network. I am only giving 3 stars not because of the nurses and doctor who came to visit my Dad while he was at home, they were wonderful! It's because I believe it is too much for a family to become doctor, nurse and pharmacist for their loved ones. A person who has great insurance should have 24-7 end of life care, my opinion. The health care system should do better for our elderly. The Inn was a relief and allowed my dad to finally die at peace

We relied on them for six months until my dad passed in February 2024. They were incredibly responsive and helpful, and provided a level of support rarely seen in today's world. They made it much easier to keep my dad safe, comfortable, and at home until he passed, providing everything from nurse visits, a social worker, some aide support, a doctor when needed, to a hospital bed, oxygen, meds, supplies, and much, much more. Truly a godsend during a very difficult time. You can't go wrong with these folks.

My mother received excellent service from this agency particularly in her final days. Her pain and anxiety was managed and she was also assisted with her breathing and positioning. I am a Social Work Director in the nursing home business and I am very familiar with end of life care. I am very happy with the timing and the quality of service Hospice Care Network provided to my mother. I will mostly remember how important this was to all of us in her final hours; and the friendly and responsive team members that helped her. I would highly recommend this service and we are grateful for the help that allowed her to die at home peacefully.

Hospice Care Network took care of my wonderful mom from May, 2017 to October 6th, 2017. They were wonderful! Every person I spoke with on the phone was compassionate, respectful, knowledgeable, and very responsive. All of the personnel that visited the home such as the : the Dr., NP, Visiting Weekly (or sometimes more!) Nurses, Social Worker, Clergy, Aides, Medical Supply Delivery Men, Pharmacy Delivery personnel were always so very, very nice. My mom got great care.
