I had a great experience. Alex genuinely cares about helping people. Alex offered to see me without any charge if my insurance didn’t cover my last session. Alex spent extra time with me and said I can call him anytime if I ever needed to talk to someone.

First let me start by saying that Alex and his wife are truly AMAZING! My husband and I have been seeing Alex weekly now for about a year or so now and couldn't be happier. My husband about 2 1/2 years ago had a ruptured brain aneurysm and subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke right in front of me and has had multiple surgeries and procedures since so we both needed some therapy especially with someone who has understanding of what we are going through. (The therapist we tried before had no knowledge of brain injuries and was giving opposite advice and causing more problems and confusion so we stopped.) I was doing my research and found Alex on psychology today and reached out to them. Immediately after leaving a message Alex's wife ( the office manager) called me back, I explained what we both are going through and said we need help from someone who knows about brain injuries and so on and at one point I broke down and cried. She was so kind and sweet and went up and beyond to get us both in within a day or so individually and eventually we started therapy together every so often but primarily for us individually but we do participate in couples therapy too. Alex has been such a HUGE support for us in so many ways. For myself I am learning so much and getting some healthy tools on how to deal with certain things. My husband has come along way since starting therapy for himself as well. Having such a huge change in his life has been extremely difficult for him so having an amazing therapist ( Alex) has been a huge benefit, blessing and support for all of us. Alex always makes sure to spend as much time as you need in your session and does not cut you off after 45 minutes or an hour and he engages in conversation and tries to give helpful tools to deal with things. He is not the typical therapist that sits there with a pad of paper and a pen or laptop asking the same old question " and how does that make you feel?" kind of thing. Alex tries to understand and relate to you and your situations and honesty truly cares about his patients. If you are seriously looking for a true, honest, caring, attentive, AMAZING therapist I highly recommend you try this place out. It truly is hard to find a therapist like Alex and his wife ( she is going to school to become a therapist and is the office manager). They are more than therapists for our family, they are a support system and someone who can relate with us. If you are willing to put the work in you'll find he is a great person to have helping you go through whatever you are going through and you'll see results. But you have to be willing to put your work into it and take his guidance. Thank you Alex and Patty
