During one of the most difficult times in my life, the staff at Cook Walden provided exceptional care, compassion, and support. I had pre-planned services … so graciousness started then — After my husband's passing, they guided me and my family through every step with loving patience, and genuine concern. No judgement … just an open heart to provide all the care we needed. They made a painful process much easier to navigate and treated us with dignity and respect throughout. I know that they went above and beyond to help us, yet it was clear that this level of care is— simply who they are —-and how they treat every family they serve. I would especially like to thank Kelsey, Funeral Director, and Susan, Family Care Advisor, whose compassion and genuine kindness meant so much to me. Their calm presence and thoughtful guidance eased the heaviness I was carrying. I will always remember the respect and care Cook Walden showed us.

During one of the most difficult times imaginable the staff at Cook Walden Capital Parks were very professional and comforting. From Bernadette Martir helping finalize my Father's obituary to Kazia Kelone ensuring our family had the time we needed to support one another and coordinate the proceedings. Eddie Sifuentes also was a great help to finalizing our arrangements at the grounds. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but all the staff we encountered were helpful, comforting, and made us feel welcome and supported at all times. The staff are great, the grounds are well kept, and the facility is beautiful. They provide a pre- arrangmement service that really helps when your dealing with the loss of a loved one. Not having to worry about the details of organizing a funeral when you are mourning is a tremendous help. Everything went off without a hitch and my family were able to spend time with one another vs making decisions during a difficult time. They were courteous, knowledgeable and not too pushy. Right after my dad died I was having a tough enough time and Trey really helped us out with info and answered all our questions. They also called me every now and then to check in and give me updates on my dad’s cremation date as well as the death certificates. Very cordial and understanding. Would 100% recommend to use them if you want to have pros who are empathetic to your situation.

JJ Gittelman was so helpful in planning our service for my mom. In fact, he was the BEST!!!! I was very lucky because my parents Pre-Planned their funeral arrangements. I highly recommend you talk to JJ about pre-arrangements, it saves so much money and time and you won't have to make regretful decisions on the spot. Because my moms burial was pre-paid we were able to add so "a-la-carte" items to our service. We got the harpist and she was AMAZING!
