I cannot thank the Collier staff enough for their care of my mom during her last week and a half of life. I so appreciate the calm, quiet, nurturing environment there. The whole hospice team (nurses, aides, kitchen staff, cleaners, social workers…) had an air about them that eased the pain of watching my loved one die. And the therapy they’ve provided to me after the death has so far been invaluable. Collier’s hospice program is one of a few bright spots in the American health care system, and I’m so grateful that my mom and her loved ones could experience her death process in that loving environment.

I cannot say enough good about this place and their employees. I have been through this process multiple times and never have felt such a connect with the nurses and aides in a medical facility. My dad was transfered here from Saint Joseph's hospital and from the moment I met his first nurse, my nerves calmed immediately. When you hear hospice, it's usually a frantic time in your life because you know what's coming. I am not saying it was easy, but I was worry free for the entire time he was here because they truly are so caring. They explain everything, they answer any questions, they are thorough with the care of their patients, and they are extremely patient with the families. We had a lot of family there every day and I know there were times we got loud just reminiscing, laughing, and crying. They never said one word to us or ever made us feel uncomfortable or that we weren't welcome back. I am forever grateful that my dad was transfered here from the hospital

Dear Intermountain Hospice Team, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to your entire staff for the exceptional care and compassion provided to my mother during her final days. From the moment I entered the facility, I was struck by the atmosphere of peace and calm that immediately put our family at ease. The environment was impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and created a sense of warmth and dignity that truly felt like home. Throughout my mother’s stay, every member of your team demonstrated remarkable professionalism, empathy, and dedication. In particular, I would like to recognize Michal, Jesse, and Brooke for their outstanding service and compassionate presence. Their attentiveness, clear communication, and ability to anticipate both my mother’s and our family’s needs brought immense comfort during a very difficult time. The level of respect and kindness shown to my mother was beyond what we could have imagined. The staff remained by her side—and ours—through every step of the process, ensuring that she experienced comfort, respect, and dignity up until her final moments. Their presence provided emotional support and reassurance that we will never forget. It is evident that Intermountain Hospice operates with a genuine commitment to excellence in end-of-life care. The atmosphere, the staff professionalism, and the human connection we felt were truly extraordinary. We left the facility knowing that my mother’s final chapter was filled with peace, compassion, and grace. I would wholeheartedly recommend Intermountain Hospice to any family seeking exceptional hospice care for their loved ones. If it were possible, I would award this facility ten stars. Our family remains deeply appreciative and profoundly touched by the care we received. With heartfelt thanks and gratitude, Stacey Galvan

My father was recently an inpatient in their care and I would give them 1000 stars if I could. The entire staff from the housekeeping to the social workers and the nurses we're absolutely amazing. They are a special kind of people. The level of compassion and genuine love that they have for their patients is uncanny. My father was treated with such dignity and care something he did not receive well in life. I live across the country and flew in as quickly as I could to be with him and his end of life. Every single person that came to his room wanted to hear about my dad's life. They were comforting when I cried and helped me through every step of the way. This was especially touching to me because I am his only child and had to do this process alone. My father was a musician and I had recordings of his music that I played for him while visiting. On his last day with me I played his music and everyone came to listen and be touched by it. My father was clean and comfortable the entire time he was there for the short period he was. They even have volunteers who come to sit with those who don't have family to visit. His nurses spoke to him like a human and talked him through every treatment despite him being unresponsive. They paid very close attention to every sign and signal of discomfort and made sure that he was 100% comfortable when he passed. His nurses Brooke and Ashley, the social worker Anne, and his doctor Dr. Olson are truly beautiful caring souls and will forever hold a special place in my heart. They made the painful experience of losing my dad beautiful and full of love. I will never be able to thank them enough.

Hospice review We are so pleased that we chose the Collier hospice for my mother’s end of life care. She had a wonderful nurse, Ann, while she was at home. She visited weekly and helped my mother adjust to the end of life. As her care became more involved Ann was there each step of the way supporting my mother and our family. I have never med someone who was so kind and understanding and competent. Finally My mother had to spend her final days in-patient at their facility. She raved over how quiet and beautiful it was. Again the staff was so very kind and supportive of both my mother and our family. The Chaplin was very helpful with family dynamics. Even the chief was wonderful, providing her with warm chocolate chip cookies which gave her much enjoyment in her final days. What a gift it was to have this organization available to care for my mother and our family at this hard time. As a retired nurse I am picky and could not fina any fault, just very competent care! I can not recommend this hospice more. 100/100.
