Heart of Hospice - Gretna

I only gave two stars because T was amazing and I absolutely love and respect her. My mom's hospice nurse was nice but you all were not forthcoming with the state of her ulcer, instead of someone explaining to me what a Kennedy ulcer was and why exactly it was happening, Yall just kept sending people to look at it. Instead of telling me there was nothing I could do to help it heal, trained professionals jusr told me to keep it clean. It would have been more helpful to explain to me its not gonna heal because she's dyiing And sending volunteers who cannot touch or assist the patient is not helpful either.

I only gave a 2 star because they filled meds and supplies promptly and had 2 nurses and 2 cna’s that were decent. They didn’t respect that I worked nights and came whenever they pleased. They also liked to tour my house without permission. I had made several complaints only to find that the person in charge had told everyone I was the problem. Let that sink in. It’s my home , I have to work but I’m the problem. I had to deal with this company for almost a year. There is absolutely no need for anyone to contact me because my loved one has passed on. I would never recommend this company.

Thank you to Heart of Hospice for the incredible care you gave my dad. Everyone from the RNs, aids, social workers... were so wonderful, compassionate & willing to help with whatever was needed. I used a difference hospice when my mom was ill. They were adequate, but cannot compare. I felt that everyone we came in contact with at Home of Hospice loved their work. It did not seem like just a job for them.

My mom recently entered hospice due to lung cancer. The nurses and staff are the best ones we have EVER had and they make us feel like they really care. Those nurses deserve raises and personal awards. The office staff has been nothing but ANGELS throughout this hard process. I would recommend them 1,000%! They are the best people in the world and i wish there were more out there. They are what this world needs more of. Thank you to all of you for being like family to us.

I would like to thank Heart of Hospice for the last month of care they provided to my mother. I greatly appreciate .DR. Joplin, Ashley, Kari, Sonya, Bridget, and LIsa for their devout efforts of making my dear mom's final journey as comfortable as possible. Professionalism & compassionate
