Zero stars for this company. My mom was with this agency and they have been less than helpful. It was extremely difficult to get a nurse or to get in touch with someone. When a nurse would come out, they would talk to my mother about dying and that made my mother extremely scared and uncomfortable. The nurses would talk your head off instead of doing their job. They just take vitals and ask if she was in any pain and leave. When my mom’s oxygen machine was acting up, they refused to come out and look at it . “If the green light is on, that means it’s working” they provided no reassurance to ease my mother’s worry about her oxygen. When my mother was admitted to the ER, Nurse Gayle was very nice . She was the only nurse I liked during the time my mom was with this company. Before she was discharged, they asked us if they would like her hospital bed put in another area. We agreed. When she was discharged, no one contacted us, no one came out to take the bed apart like they said they would but was so worried about when we were going to pick her up to be discharged. My brother in law had moved the bed by himself bc no one came. This company is not organized at all, no communication and no knowledge of anything. What a joke. When my mother passed, a nurse told me that the equipment tech’s would come out the following day to get the equipment. I have been trying to get someone to get the equipment for a week. I could not get anyone until I had to LIE and say that I was going to keep it. That’s when they started contacting me about it and made sure to keep in contact until it was picked up. No one has called since my mom’s passing to give condolences or anything. If you have a loved one that is in palliative care/hospice and you are interested in this company, I would suggest looking elsewhere. EDITED ON 3/5/2026: I received a call from Compassus on yesterday only because I wrote this review🤣 they only care about ratings, not your loved ones. They provided my sisters and I with little to no support while our mother was alive and now all of a sudden know our phone numbers when they get a bad review. These people are the sick ones!

This is to thank the nurses that work for Compassus. Most of all, a big thank you to Sonny. A hospice company is only as good as it's employees. Sonny makes Compassus the highest quality hospice provider anyone could hope to have, He is kind and compassionate, all while providing the highest standard of medical care. I am recommending Compassus solely based it's employment of Sonny and nurses like him.

"I've been trying to get in touch with this company for over a week now, both my mother and I have reached out multiple times without any response. It's been really frustrating not to get the help we need. Hopefully, by sharing this review, they'll finally reach out and address our concerns."

We were under Compassus Hospice care for less than one week, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Twice, when we called in urgent situations, no nurse ever showed up within the hour as promised. On Labor Day, the on-call nurse told us she was the only one available and had two new enrollments to handle before she could maybe come. She said she would call back, but never did. Two days later, as our loved one was declining rapidly, we called again because he was vomiting and severely dehydrated. We called twice that day to check on the status, and still no one ever came. In the end, we had no choice but to take him to the ER, where he received interventions he didn’t want and sadly passed away less than 24 hours later—in the hospital, exactly where he did not want to be. Compassus advertises 24/7 care to keep patients comfortable at home, but that was absolutely not our experience. Our family feels deeply let down during what should have been the most compassionate, supportive time.

I have only been with them for four days. They were ok at first but now I am extremely mad. We were supposed to have a prescription sent to the hospital near me. They sent it to the wrong place. Today I have called them four times and still no prescription. Uncompassionate should be your name
