I found the majority of the personal here to be very unfriendly not sure why the place is kept locked down. Apparently masks are still required to conduct any business here if your an outsider but this is just an obvious double standard. Sad

Hey, you all need to get on top of this Covid relief funding, If you did not have the staff to facilitate such an undertaking than you should not have got involved. You need to ask for help, and or call an agency to speed up this process or seriously start thinking about expanding your hours. You are letting Santa Barbara county down, and you should seriously think about why you decided to take on this task and make some changes.

Worst-case scenario for a nonprofit to end up. Very high administrative costs and salaries. Their programs are fake meant for photo ops and visiting donors. CEO makes $200k+ with little to show for it while they passed out token amounts to many mudslide and fire victims. Avoid United Way, your money will be put to better use elsewhere.

I was a part of their Voluntary Income Tax Preparation program. The training for the program and its execution were very well organized. The co-ordinators were experienced and very friendly thus creating a cordial environment for new tax preparers. It was a great learning experience.
