Peaches Kitchen Restaurant & Catering Service

Peaches Kitchen is a nice neighborhood restaurant if you are looking for a bite to eat. The food is not spectacular but if you are looking for an OK meal then go to peaches. The staff is nice and friendly but the service is very slow. You will usually have to wait to get your food because elders are usually preparing it. The atmosphere is quiet, so if you are looking to eat in a quiet setting Peaches is the place to eat.

The customer service here is AWFUL. I live in the area and was recommended Peaches after having their chicken sandwich and loved it so much i got my coworkers to order. However we will not be ordering any longer from them due to the terrible wait times and poor customer service. Whether you call ahead or order online you'll be left on hold forever and when you get there be aware of the long wait times to just pick up your food. I usually go on lunch and use my entire lunch just standing inline to get food. When I call I'm left on hold because its "busy" and when I get there they are sitting down talking to people (mind you I'm still on the phone). They never apologize especially the owner and look at me like I'm the problem when I simply asked for a refund cause I'm fed up of having to wait EVERYTIME. I told them this takes up my entire lunch and I was asked, " where do i work?" as if that even matters. This is not the first time, but this happens way too often for my liking about 90% of the time. I usually like to support my local businesses but it seems they aren't concerned with treating their customers right unless you're placing a large order. I'd only go here if you have 45 minutes to waste waiting for your food. The food is fairly decent especially the jerk chicken sandwich but that cannot substitute poor customer service. If you look at the other reviews they same the same think and we are mostly locals. SMH

Very nice place i love the jerk chicken salad it akways hit right .. go check her out .. enough for 2/ 3 servings.. I gave a 4* only because one of her staff is always rude .. most of the time to me .. but spoke to owner very nice lady , go check her out ..

I’m not sure why this place is still open. The food is horrible not to mention it’s always a very long wait for your food. After calling in a pickup order they tell you 25-30 minutes it turns into at least an hour or more. The food is never what they say it is and tastes horrible. I hadn’t been here a few years but tried to give it another try because I did like it when it first opened but it had fallen off. Well I see not much has changed. You can be the judge for yourself but as you can see the lay some sugar on me sweet potato doesn’t have ounce of sugar or anything else for that matter. Never again, is the least I can say about this restaurant.

Peaches was very good. I would recommend this place is you are looking for Jamaican and soul food in the DC area. 3 stars because of a few things that are near and dear to me personally. But some people may not care. Everything was seasoned and flavored perfectly. If you don’t like spicy curry, stay away 😂. My curry shrimp was spicy. Oxtails- 7- I like mine to fall off the bone. I had to Work on these a little. But great savory flavor. Fried whitening-7- I would have given a ten. But these were not whole filets. They were broken. The sauce that was provided was a 10! 🤤🤤. Curry Shrimp- 10 Greens-10 Rice-5 it was cold & Mild Flavor( but the curry sauce made up for it. Green beans- 10 so good!!!! Plantains-10 Garlic Mashed potatoes-10
