SmokeDatt Barbecue "A Catering Company

I have used SmokeDatt Barbecue catering for a number of events I have hosted at my school, Elizabeth Seton High School. The staff and parents always ask if SmokeDatt Barbecue is the caterer. They and I truly love the food. The service is prompt, food is always hot and George and his crew are so nice. We can't wait for them to come out again.

The food at SmokeDatt BBQ is amazing! The meats are always tender and well seasoned. My 24 year old son just had brisket for the first time. He mentioned not wanting brisket in the past due to hearing the meat had a lot of fat. That was not the case with SmokeDatt BBQ. He loved it! SmokeDatt BBQ is our go to for most of our events. We also order when traveling to visit our family in Florida. We choose not to have a gathering without placing an order from SmokeDatt BBQ. Keep up the great work! May God continue to bless you and enlarge your territory!

Smoke Datt Barbecue was a blessing to my family tonight. They were so welcoming and generous. My kids received hot dogs, oreos, juice, and chips. I received chicken, cornbread, greens, apples, and water. My car battery broke down when we were about to leave, the owner and his buddy came over and helped me jumped the car. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity during this hard time. God bless you all abundantly.

We have used SmokeDatt Barbecue to cater our church picnic on 3 occasions. They have always been prompt and provide excellent food & customer service. I normally don’t provide reviews; however, the food, especially the Mac & Cheese, was incredible. I warmed up a plate later that evening and was amazed how the food tasted like it was fresh off the grill. Thanks again for making our family fun day a huge success. Rev. Francis Coates Jr.

I just ordered this from the food truck at my place of employment. I wanted to try the chopped brisket and a side of green beans (green beans were good). The lady and gentleman asked me if I wanted an additional side to make it a platter since I was already at cost, and I opted for the Mac and cheese (edible, but very greasy, and no creaminess whatever, just cheese, oil and noodles). Now for the meat which is by far the WORST chopped brisket I have ever tasted in my entire life. It was way too salty and tasted like jerky. Why do we think that dumping a ton of salt is helping the flavor of the food? For the $18.02 plus a $2.00 tip; it could have went towards the copay for high blood pressure medicine. It went in the trash, sadly. Maybe the brick and mortar is better, but I won’t be back. A refund was offered by the owner and they wanted the last 4 digits of my card, but I paid cash. While appreciated, nevertheless ridiculous. I wonder if I can get my cash back from the food truck because they still come to my place of employment weekly, which I’ll never understand why. I’m so irritated 😣
