Baptist Hospice

April Bridges, my wife’s hospice nurse, is an angel on earth. My wife’s passing was made much easier with this caring person. Nothing is easy when you lose a loved one, but Baptist Hospice is so caring.

Baptist Hospice took care of my grandmother before she passed on Christmas Day. Our nurse April Bridges is an angel on earth. She not only provided the BEST care, but showed true compassion and love for her & our family. We also had encounters with other staff including Maurice Jackson, social worker, nurses Summer & Lexie as well as the chaplain. Dr. Shepherd was her doctor who made sure she had everything she needed. They were all amazing people who went above the call of duty. If you ever find yourself in need of hospice care services, I would highly recommend this establishment. You will not be disappointed.

Sarah has been wonderful and has given our family the correct information in caring for my father. From talking to us about our options in a calm manner to following up on his care once we were home. She has made sure that we have everything we need and that we understanding hospice care. Hospice has also made sure that my mom has everything she needs to assist with my fathers care. We can never thank her enough for making this process easier for my family!

Sara was absolutely wonderful. She freely shared indispensable advice that enabled my family to make great decisions for the care of my father. The numerous words of support and the actions of the staff could not have come at a better time. Upon choosing Home Hospice and discharge from the hospital, the staff was waiting at our home to make sure that he was taken care of and had everything he needed. No more worrying about medications, medical supplies, professional care, and after hours support. Great Team!

I can’t begin to explain what great people work with Baptist Hospice. I got my precious mother on their care plan and it’s the best decision I made throughout my 10 years of being her solo caregiver . They went above and beyond caring for her . Not only her medical needs but they truly cared and loved my precious mother . They were there for me when I needed support , answer questions etc ... they truly made a huge difference ! Sara Schmidt got me on board and I am forever grateful to her for all her many tasks she worked through . April Bridges was her RN that was in charge of mothers care . My mother improved with April’s care and she adored her she would light up as soon as April walked in the room . April is a blessing and again I am forever grateful . Gabby would go by and just love on mother and bring her happies and she loved seeing Gabby , another blessing . I met Carla Wilson after Mother passed away and she continues to check on me weekly . I could write forever about the great things this special people do . I can say they were blessings to me and my precious Mother when times were really tough and when things were not so tough . I believe each of these special people have a heart of gold and love caring for people . I am forever grateful .
