Greenwood Memorial Park & Funeral Home provides compassionate and professional care during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Their staff treats families with kindness, dignity, and respect, helping create meaningful services and support when it matters most.

Massive mega chain Dignity Funeral Homes which includes Greenwood is a corporate mess. They are the Wal-Mart or Sears of Funeral Homes and their customer service reflect this fact…meaning LACKING. If you want bare basics with no approach to detail or guidance go here.
At the gravesite, we were left shocked with little to no help. The staff stayed in the hearse to stay dry while family was gathering. Greenwood was used for funeral services as our loved one was to buried in a cemetery other than Greenwood’s. The cemetery (not Greenwood’s) staff was present and available when gathering. Greenwood staff was absent and staying dry,. The Greenwood staff were hiding behind Cadillac hearse tinted windows. Nice glitz..zero substance. Finally when a few minutes before the start time of the service they showed their faces and brought out equipment to move the casket. It was inferior and would not work and cemetery staff brought out their more robust equipment to transfer a casket. The casket was moved over and after the Greenwood staff realized the flower arrangement was not presented to those gathered they came to move it half way through the service. It was anticipated the pall bearers would be moving the casket over to the burial place so people could drop flowers. After a very clunky exchange with Greenwood it happened.
I would note their website and posting of obituaries is purely a scam to sell items through other corporate companies Dignity has a business relationship. Again, this is Wal-Mart for funerals so DO NOT USE ANY OF THIER SALES TACTICS FROM THEIR CORPORATE ADVERTISING!!! A family member tried to purchase flowers through the Dignity website. They thought purchasing through their website, Greenwood would be able to track these flowers and make sure present at the service. It was a disaster and the expected flowers were not delivered. Hours after the service the family member had to go through a process to cancel a floral order made through their Dignity website. This is sham and created unnecessary stress and drama on an already stressful day. I always had experienced funeral directors to help with problems…guide a family…and make things go as smooth as possible. Not Greenwood….
In the end Greenwood does not pay attention to detail. They do not assist when help is needed. They are not problem solvers when there is an issue. Go elsewhere from Dignity Funeral Homes and Greenwood, if you can. I have used other funeral homes for other loved ones in the past without these issues and would not recommend this corporate chain to anyone.

Greenwood may not be the cheapest place, but they certainly were efficient and provided excellent services. The chapel was beautiful and spacious. Everything ran smoothly. When we were faced with an unexpected need for cremation, they took care of everything and even offered us lower cost options. It is a beautiful facility and I am very grateful for their courtesy and the excellent services they provided.

Our family will always seek assistance from Greenwood they have great staff and service for all the funeral arrangements we’ve ever needed to take care of. Most of our family members have been laid to rest at Greenwood. Special thank you to John Park and Harlie Sasser.

My mother-in-law’s funeral service was wonderful and handled with grace and love by Greenwood Memorial. Katrina Willis and everyone in the team was great and gave us our last moments with our Mom with sincere compassion.
