Mile High Memorials

I purchased a memorial for my mother and my still alive father back in 2013. They provided the upmost kind, compassionate and caring costumer service back then. My contract included my dad's DOD engraving upon his passing. Sadly, time has come, the business has a different owner and they refuse to honor the terms of my contract. The front desk person was, to say the least, cold and unwilling to help. She refused to work with me saying that their company "does not retain funds for future use" and "that's not how the company works now". In fact, she suggested from the beginning that I contacted another company because she said their "engraver (was) very picky" and that's "what he charges ($375!)" for engraving the DOD only! I had to request that she pulled my paperwork to review the contract because I couldn't find my copy but she never emailed it to me as she promised. I also asked if she could check with the appropriate parties if they would agree to the engraving for free or at a discounted price but she never called back to give me an answer either way. I've called, left messages and tried unsuccessfully to get an answer and/or negotiate with them and almost begged that they honor my original contract but now they've resorted to just ignoring or not answering my calls at all so I need to find another engraver. I'm sure they will be in business until other families get the same treatment as we did. Such a shame but I will never, ever, do business with them again.

Since the recent change in ownership, I am so impressed at the level of care and empathy they show alongside professionalism and great quality of work. I had a lot of anxiety about shopping for a stone during covid, but they alleviated them by answering all my questions after my initial consultation with online communication and phone calls. The stone was beautiful and now I can relax.

Tara and Emily, I want to thank both of you for your patience and compassion while working with my dad and I. My mother's memorial is beautiful, simply precious. I know we took a long time to design the memorial...so many different versions to get to the perfect one. Your guidance and counsel throughout made my dad and I feel at ease. I wish I could give a zero star. Because this is what this establishment deserves to be precise Tara deserves 0. Her Customer Service is unacceptable and horrible. They way I was treated while mourning the loss of my mother is absolutely mind blowing!!! After a meeting with her on 6/22 I received ZERO communication from her after she said she was going to email with info of our meeting. After 4 WEEKS of nothing I contacted the designer she had more compassion in wanting to make things right. But then received a phone call from Tara blaming me. Never once did she apologize. Never once did she offer to make things right. She kept saying this is how we run our business. I should have know that she is it only for the money. The end of the meeting we had she made a disgusting comment about the new building being built near the Littleton light rail station which is an assisted living facility literal quote "It's great for my business" HEARTLESS and left such a bad taste in my mouth. I'm so glad she showed her true colors and she never received a cent from me. Save yourself grief while grieving your loved one for that is all you will receive from Tara. Way to blow $3000 Tara and anyone I come in to contact with.
