St. Croix Hospice

The team at St. Croix are some of the best in the area. Amy, Melia, Jimmy, and Mickey have been such a wonderful part of our residents lives. There are not many hands I would trust with my residents let alone loved ones... but St Croix is one of them! Thank you all for being trustworthy, respectful, and kind!

Our uncle lived alone with no immediate family, so we relied heavily on St. Croix Hospice to guide us through the process, especially during his final days. Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling unsupported and uncertain. Communication was inconsistent, with different nurses providing conflicting updates, and at times we went months without any medical-related contact. For families in situations like ours, clearer guidance, consistent communication, and a knowledgeable, compassionate staff are essential. We hope future families receive a more cohesive and reassuring experience.

When our mother decided she was tired of fighting her medical battle, she opted to return to her home with hospice. St. Croix stepped up from the moment we reached out. They provided answers, reassurance and comfort for our entire family. Every person who entered my parents home, did so with respect. They lovingly provided cares for our mother & guidance for our father, who was suddenly her primary caregiver, all the way to the end, keeping her comfortable, pain free and most importantly, in her own home, surrounded by family when she passed. Because of this, our mother was allowed to live out the last month and a half of her life on her own terms. And we are forever grateful for that.

I would give St. Croix Hospice 100 stars if I could! This was one of the worst times of my life loosing my brother and Ethan Schmidt and Brandy made it easier on everyone! They both were so kind and very helpful and showed us so much grace! The day we found out Mike was not going to live much longer I felt like Ethan and Brandy both carried me through the whole time and i know I would not have coped as well as I did without them! No matter who we dealt with there was awesome ! If I ever needed help with loosing a love one I would Choose St. Croix Hospice every time!
