Hardage- Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home

The staff at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home has been a Blessing to my family. They are respectful to my needs, comforting and truly caring at a time that families need someone to guide them at a time of extreme loss. I want to thank Miss Heather especially as she has assisted me in handling my mom,a brother, and nephew in planning for their resting place among other family members. Also Miss Jocelyn's assistance and care for my nephew's service and planning to make sure he has a memorable service and memories of things he liked. He loved football 🏈 the Gators especially. He was also a Jaguar fan but I chose the orange and blue for the colors. So thanks again for your assistance ladies it means a lot to me.

We dealt with Hardage-Giddens when my aunt passed away a few years ago and the whole process was simple because we used them for preplanning her funeral. It was the easiest funeral ever. I decided that I would also preplan my funeral arrangements through them so that my children would not have so many hard decisions to make during such a hard time. I get to choose everything and make all necessary arrangements beforehand! What a wonderful peace of mind this has given me. Thank you Hardage-Giddens staff for making this process simple.

Brittany worked with me every step of the way. She was genine and extremely kind. Even though she was off on the day of my husbands memorial service, she called to check on me to make sure everything was done and see if i needed anything. She was always sincere whenever we spoke. She made me feel i made the right choice entrusting them with my husband. I huge Thank You to every one. You all were kind and sincere each time I step foot on the grounds.

I was not very happy with the services received. It took FOREVER from the time my husband passed until he was cremated. The Funeral Home told us it took time to have the Dr put cause of death and the Medical Examiner to sign the death certificate. Medical Examiner never signed the death certificate. I come from another State and have buried family in surrounding States and it never took that long. A week max out of State. It took Hardage-Giddens on Normany three weeks to have my husband's remains ready to bury. We buried him on December 1st, 2025. He died October 30th, 2025. The Thanksgiving week came on the 4th week after he passed. No family was available to come to FL at that time. If they hadn't been so slow, I could have buried him mid-November. I wanted to bury him on his birthday, November 11th. That was 11 days after he passed and they couldn't accommodate me. Also, I was not happy with the way the prayer cards were printed. Then, I was not happy that they had you go to a 3rd party person to file Life Insurance to pay for Funeral. Otherwise, it was pay up front and that portion of their Company charge 7% of the value of the Insurance to make a claim. I did not feel the warmth and comfort in the Funeral staff, as I have felt with other Funeral personnel. All the extras that we questioned were, money, money and more money. It was an ala cart. Never in my life have I seen anything like it. Usually, everything is included in a package deal. Had I not been grieving so much, I would have paid more attention to all of the details. My advice to others contemplating using Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial, shop around and do your homework first, before you employ their services.

We have been using the cemetery flower placement service for our parent's gravesite for the past two years. It has been a great way for us to honor them and their memory. We have been completely satisfied with the service. The flowers are beautiful, affordable and their plans give you options of what and when your arrangements are placed. A special thanks to Vicky Carney for going above and beyond in letting us know when our flowers are placed and providing us with a photo. We appreciate this valuable service and highly recommend it to others.
