We can never thank you all enough for your amazing kindness for our Aunt in the ICU. We reached out because we could not find a Rabbi downtown and really wanted to honor our Aunts beliefs. The amazing Rabbi here explained the traditions with such kindness and helped us navigate how we can help and honor her in the best way according to her religion. The Rabbi was so kind, so caring, explained all the traditions we were unaware of, and he was so helpful and so amazing! Thank you more than words!

PLEASE NOTE: The Rabbi and his wife seemed really nice. That said, they were pretty clear that they do not cater to FFBs particularly from the tri-state.

I was recently invited to join the weekly Torah study and discovered an absolutely amazing group of folks that are so passionate about their faith. With the recent atrocities I’ve felt compelled/drawn to understand this amazing religion that was previously so foreign to me. I’ve not even scratched the surface yet I feel a sense of belonging and peace that I did not even know existed within myself. Thank you to everyone there.

Just visiting Charleston and went here for Friday night dinner. I've been to many Chabads all over the world and this one was by far the nicest building I've been to. The dinner was delicious, extremely organized, and the Rabbi and his wife made us feel at home. The locals were also very friendly. Great place to go to for Shabbat dinner. Thank you for having us!!

One of the hardest parts of relocating from Mount Pleasant was losing the hospitality, friendliness and warmth both Yossi and Sarah showed me during my 18 months living in Mount Pleasant. From Shabbat morning services to Friday Night dinners and holiday celebrations I always felt welcome. Especially as a still recent college graduate, this Chabad had a great mix of young adults, middle aged people, and older people which made making friends so easy. I miss the weekly challah pickups. I have been to other Chabad’s and Yossi and Sarah have the best challah by far. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll have to stop by and visit. I cannot recommend this Chabad enough for Jews of any religious observance as the more egalitarian nature of the services are very accommodating.
