After our grandmas passing we were lucky to have had Trish in our corner, helping, guiding and offering assistance in her funeral and burial planning. She went above and beyond what I thought was the norm. She offered the most genuine remorse for our loss and even shared in our tears when we spoke about our family. During the burial she was informative, and still had an amazing amount of kindness, sympathy and warmness, she spoke to us like old friends as we said our final goodbyes and laid her to rest. Jason and Joel who assisted in the burial were amazing to watch work, in silent understanding and gentleness we know she would have appreciated. We can not thank the team at Gethasmani enough for all they have done.

Spencer, Trish and the whole staff was so great, kind, informative, helpful and compassionate! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at a very difficult time.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the kindness and support that Daniel Serres showed to my father this week. We encountered a situation, and Daniel was incredibly helpful and compassionate when my father met with him the next day to discuss and work through it. Daniel went above and beyond by personally walking my dad over to meet the maintenance crew and introducing them, helping to build a relationship and sense of connection. Most touchingly, Daniel prayed with my dad—a gesture that deeply touched him and helped begin the healing of a grieving heart. My father recently lost his wife—my mother—after 60 years of marriage. Small acts of kindness like Daniel’s are powerful reminders of God’s grace and the strength He gives people to support others in times of need. Gethsemani Funeral Home walked us through every decision we needed to make for my mother‘s funeral. They laid out multiple options, and they never “upsold.” The value of the service went far beyond the actual cost. Specifically, our family hit the jackpot with our assigned funeral director, Trish—she was caring, knowledgeable, responsive, thoughtful, communicative, patient, helpful, kind, and went above and beyond! She made sure absolutely everything went as smoothly as possible, and talked me off the ledge multiple times to boot. She was wonderful throughout every interaction, which made an extremely stressful event less so. We are grateful for her attention to detail and exemplary customer service skills!
