Chai Point Senior Living

I attended a presentation given by a volunteer to a group of residents. I also had the opportunity to speak with several residents and tour the facility. I was highly impressed with the quality of the staff and the wide range of amenities offered. Everything, and everyone, seemed to be very well cared for. The facility is in a great location in the heart of downtown and offers beautiful views of the lake. It seems like a wonderful place for residents to call home.

I live on the West Coast. I was very concerned that my Uncle was living on his own (at age 98) in a regular apartment building. After a fall that had him hospitalized for a few months, I searched for a living situation that would be supportive, since I am so far away. I feel extremely lucky that my now almost 99-year-old Uncle is at Chai Point in Assisted Living. It's a lovely environment and he is very comfortable there. If problems arise, and they do at that age, he is well cared-for. The staff is terrific and the facility beautiful. There's an amazing view of Lake Michigan from the gorgeous dining room. His apartment is a huge studio with room for all his important things, a sizable closet, a big, safe bathroom, and a view of the Lake. He is safe, happy and healthy, which is the most important thing.

We recently moved my mom into the senior living community at Chai Point. The entire staff have been so friendly and accommodating. The facility is so clean, and located in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Michigan. We had the opportunity to work with Josh Kaplan. He and everyone we have encountered have gone above and beyond to make sure my mom has the best experience possible. Chai point provides so many opportunities for its residents to experience a wide variety of cultural events. They also provide many social events each week to help their residents develop connections with one another. This was a very hard transition for my mom to leave her home. I feel incredibly grateful that we found Chai Point.
