Horrible experience! If I could rate zero I would! Supposed to be known for exceptional staff. What a joke. Staff do not exhibit safety and consistency with safety equipment, asked and signed for rails on bed and fall mat on Tues, grab bars did not get put on bed until Friday, pt fell Tuesday night when trying to get up during a fire drill at night!! We got the floor mat on Thursday when the admin went to get it. First to call was never called, never notified of knee abrasions, they did get him a hip X-ray but never notified of results. Thurs almost fell because no one was holding onto his gait belt which family had to insist staff use when getting pt up. Pt stated he was left in bathroom by himself for long period on toilet after recent fall. Nursing assistant spoke inappropriately to family which confrontation ensued, with family as witness administration states family cannot return to see father. Administration would not speak on nursing assistant status but if the staff is allowed to speak to family members inappropriately how are the residents being treated when they are at their own defenses! Totally inappropriate.

My wife and daughter and I had dinner at Taylor’s Restaurant in St. John’s and we all found it to be excellent. Our food was very good (exceeded our expectations) and the service was excellent as well - friendly, efficient, and professional. The menu had a surprisingly broad selection and we found the preparation to be very appetizing. We plan to go again. I would highly recommend Taylor’s to anyone!

Taylor's dining team provided us a wonderful evening. We were celebrating a special birthday with friends. As Shore Holder Club members, St. John's entire staff has been helpful and welcoming to make us feel at home. Sincerely, Jim and Rhonda Hartwig..

St. John's is the best! As a family member of a 9 year independent living Mom, it gives me great joy every time I come to St John's on the Lake!
Not only is her apartment decorated and perfectly suited for her, she can feel safe & secure living there. Staff is wonderful, kind and accommodating. Both Taylors and the Prospect Grill offer delicious choices, unique recipes, and wonderful service.
There are such an abundance of opportunities for things to do and take part in... nobody sits around like a bump on a log. But, if you want your alone time to regenerate, read a book or just take a nap, it's all up to you. Find your peace, joy and fulfillment at St John's on the Lake. Just see Luci!
Tell her Su sent you!

Our father moved into St. Johns in early 2023 at our urging. Although he was unsure at the time, It has been the perfect place for him. The programming and learning opportunities available are endless - he is trying new things all the time! He has found an amazing group of friends and support within the Parkinson's community. The care and attention from the staff is amazing; from the receptionists to the nursing staff, to the administration. They have all made it feel like home for both our dad and the family. We couldn't be happier that he has the opportunity to age gracefully in such a thriving environment!
