This organization sounds like they are putting up a mask. They appear to help but where does all the money go for operations for a organization that is ran by volunteers, donated food, and a donated building and vehicles. In order to be eligible you have a serious health condition. I got in the program because of me being pregnant. Something isnt right about this company. I am thankful for the meals tho

An incredible community doing incredible work. Please volunteer and support as you can. They were a lifeline for me when I moved to DC and was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer within months.

A truly beautiful and inspirational facility and mission. I had the pleasure of helping pack 300+ meals with Food & Friends and I was absolutely amazed at the degree of organization, efficiency and selflessness I witnessed displayed by the staff and volunteers here. Everyday, they pack hundreds - if not thousands - of medically tailored and cooked meals to those who need them. I fully intend to devote more time and energy to this organization in the near future. My friends, family and I have the best time supporting this organization. Their mission statement is so in-line with core foundation everyone should possess: humility. The staff and volunteers will make your experience unforgettable!

What a great blessing this organization is to so many in need. 2800 plus meals are provided daily to those in need in DC. Think about those who are hungry and not healthy living on the edge. These volunteers are a godsend.
