I like thrive a lot they ser e the community in different ways.
My only problem is when I'm picking up food on the weekend some of the men on the outside are rude and start trouble, I don't go up there as much.

The Manager of the feeding Program can be very rude at times and it does not make any sense to and he has been doing this a very long time, not just to me but others as well.
I appreciate the food and I pick up for my neighbor who can't walk that far, but today was maybe me last time picking up for my neighbor. When the Food Manager is not there at the door things run smoothly.

A private contracted and owned company that has a new transitional housing program that allegedly funded by the Federal Government to help DC Citizens. I was denied this program allegation without screening for 4.1 11.08. Is this legal?

A great Agency in DC that is multifaceted and assisted Low Income individuals by providing a varying Breakfast (open to Men & Women) to the Homeless, showers, socks, sandwiches for lunch. An early hot dinner for Women & Children only. You can also receive assistance with housing referrals, substance abuse referrals, ability to receive mail, assistance getting Identification and receive Mail which is kept safely secured.

No stars!!!! Here's why: when i went to get help with my ID, i knew the credential for me to get one but i had no money. Thrive DC was going to help me. When I got to the DMV since i had already an ID that i needed a money order instead of proof of residency paper. OKAY!!! No problem. In return with going thru all this I had to go back and forth. The only good thing that came from this is Thrive DC gave me bus money to use after i had to go back and forth.
Word of advice is: If you already have an id for DC then just tell them you need a money order. If you never had an id in DC then you get the proof of residency. Thanks hope this information will help someone.
