Catherine was so knowledgeable and informative. She explained everything clearly and listened to all of our concerns and questions. Her and the rest of the staff were awesome stepping us through the whole estate planning process. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience with Fleischmann and Shutt Law Firm. From the very beginning, the process was professional, clear, and extremely thorough. Their office is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and the waiting area is very cozy and comfortable. We were greeted by two lovely receptionists who welcomed us with genuine hospitality and made us feel at ease right away. Attorney Audra Apke took the time to walk my family through every option for our estate planning needs and made sure we fully understood what would work best for our situation. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about getting everything done correctly. We completed a flat-rate estate planning package that included a will plus additional documents and two Transfer on Death Deeds (TODDs) for my mother and stepfather, with me as the primary beneficiary and my son as the secondary. Everything was organized, efficient, and gave us real peace of mind. Price-wise, everything was upfront and transparent — no surprises. And on top of that, Audra even provided my father-in-law’s Power of Attorney documents for FREE (yes, FREE — a true unexpected bonus). If you’re looking for a trustworthy, thorough, and highly professional estate planning law firm, I strongly recommend Fleischmann and Shutt. Outstanding service from start to finish. Thank you, Attorney Audra. Thank you, Fleischmann and Shutt Law Firm. God Bless. Jeremy S., RN

Catherine was so pleasant to work with. Very knowledgeable and helpful with my Trust, will, and other documents. She went over all of the documents thoroughly with me, changed everything/anything that needed updating. I really appreciate the time she spent ensuring that it was exactly what I wanted.

My experience after the firm merged earlier this year was not good. I was assigned a new attorney without any notice in the middle of my application. I constantly had to chase the attorney for updates on my case. My calls and emails were often left unanswered. I would not recommend this firm post merger.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this law firm. From the very beginning, I was transparent about my goal: to transfer my late father’s property into my name. I was initially working with Attorney Brittney and informed her that my siblings had ZERO interest in the property. She advised me that completing an affidavit of heirship was the appropriate step, which I promptly did. During the process, however, I was informed that Attorney Brittney was no longer with the law firm due to unprofessionalism and/or unjust practices. It was my decision at that time to continue working with the law firm and not with Attorney Brittney, due to the law firm's reputation and its high recommendation. I then began working with Attorney Audra. Everyone seemed to be nice and professional; however, after the firm accepted my payment and completed the affidavit, I noticed that the property was listed in my siblings' names and not mine. I was informed by Attorney Audra that, due to Texas state laws, the property could not be transferred into my name. What is most frustrating is that this information—fundamental to my situation—was never disclosed to me beforehand. As a client, I trusted the attorney to provide clear guidance on whether my objective was even legally possible before taking my money. Hello? I am a nurse, not an attorney. This was the reason I sought legal advisement. Instead, I was left with an incomplete solution that does not resolve the issue I initially sought help for. Clients deserve honesty and full disclosure upfront. While I understand that legal processes can be complex, failing to provide critical information until after payment creates the impression that the firm prioritizes fees over transparency. I would encourage anyone considering this firm to ask very direct questions and insist on written confirmation of what can and cannot be accomplished before moving forward. Ask ChatGPT
