Heartland Hospice

If I could give Heartland Hospice staff 10 stars, I would. They changed my preconceived ideas about hospice. This team was exactly what my family needed to deal with my mother's final days. They provided every resource I could have hoped for and more. The gentle care provided to my mother and our family was invaluable. Even after my mother passed the chaplain remains available. If we ever need this level of care again, I will not hesitate to reach out for their support. My mother was blessed to be able to remain at home with her family and received A-1 support throughout the months from these caring people. Heartland Hospice the family of Ella L. Losing loved ones is never easy, but Heartland made an unimaginable time feel a little more bearable for our family. Both of my grandparents were cared for by their team, one in the hospital until he passed and the other at home. The compassion, gentleness, and genuine love shown to them went far beyond what we ever expected. Knowing they were treated with such dignity and kindness brought us peace during their final days and lifted so much worry from our shoulders. Our family is forever grateful, and we wholeheartedly recommend Heartland to anyone facing this difficult journey.

Both of my grandparents were able to be patients with heartland. The staff was amazing. One grandparent received care in the hospital until he passed and the other at home. The treatment they were given and love they were shown made their passing much easier knowing that we didnt have to worry so much. Our family highly recommends heartland.

Heartland Hospice has been a gift for my family. My mom started with hospice in November when her cancer was staged at 4 with multiple metastasis. She didn’t think she needed it at first because she was doing so well, but we are so grateful to have started early. We have been able to call the 24-7 Hospice on-call support and avoid the ED or hospital on 3 separate occasions. The staff that has cared for her are knowledgeable, responsive and compassionate. Her nurse Patty communicates so well and is a joy to have in our home. Amanda the NP made helpful medication recommendations at just the right time. The chaplain Kristin has helped our whole family work through things we didn’t know we needed to and the MSW Laurie is a wealth of knowledge and resources. Nancy the massage therapist is also incredible. Could not recommend Heartland more, they have proven to be so valuable and supportive in our time of need.

The heartland hospice has been the greatest thing for my mom. She has the best experience with them. They have taken very good care of her and are always thankful that she has had them in her life. They have also helped me find other hospice here to help take care of her. They have always been courteous, kind and wonderful to me and my family. I would like to thank them for everything they have done for my mom and hope that they can continue to do this for other people. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart Harold Ussery.
