Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is a really helpful place. I went in there with a friend in hopes to get some help with a bus pass, and they came through and gave him a 31-day bus pass to help him out. It makes a huge difference when you need to get around. Also gave him info about were to get interview clothes. They are doing great work here and really help people out when they need it most.

One of the best thrift stores in Reno to find good clothing for a decent pricing. And I love that the money goes right back into our community.

I give to various charities monthly. We can't take anything with us... No cash, no gold, no worthless trinkets that corporations convince us we need, but don't. All we get to take with us is our story. The poorest of the poor, who are homeless yet share with other homeless, carry with them the greatest stories.

On Friday the 24th I witnessed a tenant of Virginia park apartments get belittled and called names in which I know of her NOT TO BE A LYER AND HER PLACE IS VERY CLEAN and I say this due to the fact that she was called nasty Amongst other things that she is far from she did not get red in the face or even raise her voice *"" (like the very rude and verbally aggressive employee did)***all while being denied food I know with 1st hand knowledge cause I was a care taker of her neighbor I almost stepped in and said something but the employee was so aggressive as I write this im thinking something must change and it should be done immediately she is always like this is what a co worker said this gentle men is the only one who barred the shame cause he put his hand to his head and shook it. Nevertheless the five star rating is still intact what they're doing is great.
